DAILY DOSE | AT HOME BEAUTY
By Huda Heidi Kattan
Not too long ago I was obsessed with highlights– I was practically blonde! Did it look good (See below for a pic of me with highlights)? I loved it! It softened my strong features and made me look bronzed all year long! As much as I loved the bleach, my hair hated it! Still to this day, after numerous hair treatments, my hair is still trying to recover! This recipe is great for damaged hair and is very natural!
1 medium banana
2-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- In a blender, lightly puree the banana. Make sure the consistency is still a bit pasty (if you want to mash with a fork instead, just make sure you mash very well)
- Mix all ingredients so that mixture is smooth
- Apply to hair and let sit for 15-20 minutes before washing
Check me out with highlights, it looks darker when my hair is curly, but it was really light!!
Don’t mind the face! You can really see my hair here. It was really light, although it looks dark when it’s
curly–one of the reasons why I can’t wear it curly after I die it dark, it looks scary dark if I do!
My friend asked me if I was picking my nose here, nope! Just caught off guard! 🙂
In front of Pharaohs club! Going to Cleopatra’s Spa for a mud bath!
My first time playing around with highlights! This is taken in 2004, my BFF did my highlights here! She’s amazing!
