NAIL TREND | S/S 2011

In need of a change that’s sutle, but super fun? Half moon nails have been one of the hottest trends on the runway this NYFW Spring/Summer 2011 . I’ll admit, I wasn’t too Whoohaa on the trend when I first saw it years ago, but the new color combos have me crushing! I love the trend so much, I went to the salon and got my own combination done!  This may be one of my favorite nail trends in a long time! Everyone from Vena Cava to Ruffian has already used the camel/cream and black combination that is perfect for fall, and of course spring and summer. In case you noticed, my nails above are orangey-red and cream–those are my colors, so I went with something that compliments my skin tone. However, I am heading back to Nail Moda this weekend to try the cream and black and I can’t wait!
