Vitamin HB | The Thick Hair Diet (Good for Guys too!)

You might find it surprising how changes in your diet can dramatically affect your hair, I mean SERIOUSLY change your appearance. About a year ago, my hair was seriously dry and completely lifeless! It had noooo shine and it would constantly frizz at the thought of going outside, it was terrible! I did many things to improve my hair, but one of the biggest changes, and I’ve said this before, was I changed the way I ate! I have spoken before about how increasing my Omega 3 intake made my hair super shiny, but my hair also became super thick once I started eating lean proteins! It almost increased about 1/3, I swear, it was amazing! What did I eat? Walnuts, Fish, Eggs, Low Fat Dairy Products (I ate a lot of Yogurt), and I added a little Soy (remember as a woman, we need to make sure not to eat too much Soy).

hi huda ,, thx for sharing this ,, i think that u have the best blog ever ,,, but i wonder about the thing u said about soy ,what do u mean by as a woman, we need to make sure not to eat too much Soy ??
it’s like i got fat just in the all right places ..
becouse i can’t live without soy milk ,,i just adore it, it has improved my skin and made it 110% better, it also made my face and body looks even more feminine than they already does
Hi darling!! soy contains phytoestrogens, which are plant estrogen and have been noted to cause different types of cancer for women when taken in large doses. Check out this article http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/QAA76903
Huda—This entry solidified my opinion that you are not only full of information and fun facts, but extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy (the soy fact is so true!!!).
Kisses from NYC!

Hey,
I’ve heard that 2 but I didn’t think that its magic on haih can u just put the pic of it !!??
Agreed. I’ve replaced cereal with eggs for my usual daily breakfast and I’ve noticed a major change in my skin and hair since. Although I still consume dairy, eliminating that extra serving of milk in the morning has helped tame my breakouts, and eating eggs have made my hair the healthiest its ever been.
Sure thing, what you eat has affect on your hair, but as I remember, you were pregnant as well! When you are pregnant your hair gets super gorgeous! It stops shedding, hence the fullness! So beauty trick of the day: Get pregnant! lol
Dont get scared if one of these days it starts shedding super hard (like alot)! Continue drinking your prenatal vitamins and eat as you said and hair will grow back faster!
i just wanted you to know, it can be very scary if you were not prepared and wondering whats happening!
I knew about it (my mom had bald patches after my sister) and yet, when it started shedding I got scared, it was too much!
