It’s no secret that I LOVE Boots Pharmacy, they have one of the BEST beauty sections for pharmacies! Funny enough, I catch many of my makeup artist friends there pretty much all the time! So when one of my friends turned me on to Bio Oil, I went a little overboard when I saw how beautiful it made my skin. Ok, so this wasn’t my first time using Bio Oil, but after noticing some lines on my chest (yup, stretch marks), I decided I had to do something about them. I started using Bio Oil in the mornings and at night after I showered—I literally lather it on and my skin has never looked more even toned and beautiful. So yes, I now go through a bottle a month at least, but I found it really helped fight my stretch marks (if they’re still there, I can’t see them anymore!), of course, I would recommend it on new stretch marks and immediately once you see them forming. Definitely a product every woman, pregnant or not, should invest in! Your skin will be so even and beautiful, you will love the way it looks!
If notice a slight breakout from using the product too much (in my case), then try to wash your body with a body or face wash that has salicylic acid! That will really help keep your body smooth and silky!

Is this not suitable for acne scars then if it causes breakouts?
You can definitely use it on acne scars, although I recommend it for acne scars on your body, say back and chest area, etc. I literally was using so much of it, I think that’s why I broke out, but I started regulating it to just once a day, now that my marks are gone and no more breakouts! See how it works with your skin. Try it first only once, then see how your skin reacts. Good luck baby!!! Xxxx

I heard about this oil before, but how long it takes to reduce the stretch marks??
According to my experience, on new stretch marks it took like 2-3 months while those i had for quite some time ,it took about 6 months.
This is the perfect product to prevent the appearance of stretch marks during preganacy. i used it when i was 3 months preganat untill after delivery (twice aday) and i don’t have any stretch marks.
It takes quite a while, it won’t disappear over a week, it needs at least a month. Been using it everyday, improvement comes slowly.
