Obsessing with Blue for Fall!
PRODUCT REVIEW | MAKEUP
By Huda Heidi Kattan

I honestly am completely NOT someone who uses a lot of color on myself! On my clients and models, sure-but when it comes to my own makeup, I only really crank up the volume by intensifying the color! I use to colors so much, and I kind of thought I was done with that—-until I tried Dior’s Blue Tie Eyshadow for fall! I tried this product with little hope, remembering years back when I bough the Chanel Jeans De Chanel Eyeshadow, which was a mix of blue, but I didn’t like it at all, it was really bland! But since blue is such a hot color this season, I thought why not! So happy I did! What I love about this collection from Dior is the color is amazing, but it also gives you the option of metallic, glitter or matte!
I personally loved all the colors soooo much that I mixed all four colors together and piled it on! I created two looks with the makeup! For the first one, I simply used the eyeshadow all over the eye and lid and applied mascara! For the second look, I applied all the eyeshadows on the area and elongated towards my temples. Then I added some false lashes and eyeliner! I love this eyeshadow because it’s beautiful and dramatic, but overwhelming! Even my mother and hubby approved and they are so difficult! Sooo this is definitely my fall obsession especially since this is very similar to the colors we used for London Fashion Week when I did makeup there for Fall 2011, so this palette is RIGHT on trend! It’s limited edition so get it quick!
PS, the packaging is amazing and the gloss that comes with the palette is really pretty! I prefer using it lightly, but I did dab a dot of foundation with it to give it a nude look!

Huda, help!!! I keep trying to apply eyeshadow with brushes(I used to always just use the little applicators that come with it) but I just can’t seem to get it right. It doesn’t go on correctly, or look nice at all. I bought kind of low quality brushes because I’m reeaaallllyyy on a budget, could that be the problem?
Huda you look great in the blue! Keep the trends for fall coming! I love it & your sweet style! Keep it up!
