What always gets me excited is when I hear of A-list celebrities who swear by these tips! Being surrounded by the best advice and expertise sometimes means heading into your kitchen cabinet!
When I heard that Greek bombshell Jennifer Aniston swears by Vaseline Jelly on her eyes before bed time, I was shocked–no $500 cream? No Botox? No weird placenta or bird dropping facial to swear by? Nope, just good old fashioned Vaseline Jelly. Aniston swears that she’s been applying Vaseline Jelly under eyes for years and it’s the reasoning behind her gorgeous wrinkle free eyes. Of course, it could be good genes, so I had to try!
I’ve only tried this for a few days now, but I’m really surprised because the area under my eyes is SOOOO dry and it not only seems more hydrated but also quite plump and awake! I’ve heard of stories of women who are in their 50′s and look 20 years younger and swear it’s all thanks to good old Vaseline, but I really didn’t think it would work1 I actually used it with my normal eye cream and I have to say, it definitely works and feels great! Who knew!

i agree .. my grandma is 84 and uses vaseline on her face everyday … she has no wrinkles ..!!

I usually just use Vaseline on my lips at night but I’m going to try putting it under my eyes and on my feet too!

I totally believe in Vaseline! My mum is in her early 60′s but mashaAllah she has great radiant skin and maybe much better than my 20′s skin!! So all hail the miracle- VASELINE
but isn’t it too heavy for the under eyes area?
the skin there is very sensetive
aloe vera gel alone is very healthy for under eye too !!

Jennifer Aniston was also recently on Jay Leno raving about how she regularly has face peels done that remove the top layer of the epidermis to reveal radiant baby soft & younger skin if done correctly. Despite having to hide out for up to two weeks while your face peels off – which she also mentioned. As an esthetician, that tells me she gets the super strong peels which are the most effective. Not to mention the extremely expensive facials she pays for, so I wouldn’t put much weight on this one tip attributing to her youthful looks. If used for long periods, Vaseline can clog the pores around your eyes for those with oily skin or larger pores. Because it acts as a barrier, trapping anything you apply under it, perhaps applying a light coat (a few times/week) on top of a good eye cream might be beneficial but I wouldn’t overdo it.
seems amazing!!!! but i would recommend wiping the vaseline totally off before going out as the vaseline darkens the skin while being under the sun!!

Well, I we actually have the same in common because I’m also obsessed with my Vaseline cream because I have no wrinkles at all.
Tried this after you posted & it makes me breakout that i want to cry. I sooo badly want this to work on my face after hearing all these wonderful comments but it makes me breakout! I know i sound whinny, im sorry
I read this about a month or so ago and since then, I have been using Vaseline under my eyes. WOW…what a difference!

Yup! It’s that easy! Just put enough to have a little there, you don’t want a huge film, rather a slight amount
I work at a nursing home and care for a woman who is 103! She has used Aquaphor or Vaseline on her face for upwards of 90 years. She said her mother taught her to do so as a girl. Thing is, the skin on her cheeks is smooth. She has some lines around her eyes, but her skin is just amazing. She looks 75. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m sold!
