I’m always baffled by people when they tell me they aren’t into social media–AT ALL! I know there’s still a lot of people who really don’t know what Facebook is, but it’s really changed history as we know it! Even though it’s pretty insane how strong the presents for social media is, I was pretty shocked with the latest announcement from YSL Beauty! On July 19, they will be releasing the first ever Facebook Eyeshadow Quad which will host 4 gorgeous colors dedicated solely to the Facebook colors! I’m not going to lie, being a huge YSL fan and Facebook user, I am definitely going to get this, but I still think it’s crazy!

Would you try this palette or is it just craziness?

    Well the pigments are gorgeous, perfect for smokey eye so the Facebook name is actually genius marketing. Next think we know we will have a nude quad pigment named Instagram, red based quad named Pinterest, soft hue named either Teitter or Skype & lastly purple quad for YM!

    This idea seems a bit crazy. Im a YSL fan myself and yeah I do use Facebook, but combining them together just sounds odd. But this again proves, that Facebook has successfully conquered a new area :) the beaty world. I really like this palette tho!

    I think it’s a fantastic idea that YSL are embracing social media. It’s a very old, prestigious and luxury brand and rather than being stuck in the past, they’re moving on with the times and what better way than to create a palette dedicated to Facebook?
