My mom fell face flat on the driveway almost a month ago and her left cheek bled and was bruised for weeks. She tried covering the area and avoiding the sun since she wasn’t able to wear any kind of spf or makeup but now four weeks after the wound, her face scarred and has discoloration, she is not sure what to use in order to help renew her skin and even out the tone. It is much darker than her face color and it is right on the top of her left cheek so it’s very obvious. Would anything product for blemishes help?
OMG! Babe:(((( I am soooo sad to hear that, especially since it was your mommy! Mommies are so precious and I know it must be hard on both of you:(
Ok, not to fear! When I was 14, I got in a really bad motorcycle accident! The skin on my right arm was completely burnt off from the road rash and my shoulder was deeply injured! For months, I put Vitamin E on the wounded area and I stayed out of the sun completely! It looked like my arm was going to be scared since the skin had grown back, but was completely white there. Still, day and night I put Vitamin E on! Then one day, I went into the sun after thinking it might be ok, the skin actually tanned and completely blended in with rest of my arm and was gone! It was like virgin skin that needed some color! As for my shoulder the wound was too deep and I do have a scar there now (quite large).
I think your mom right now needs some treatment. Load up on Vitamins A & E (just tell her not to take too much Vitamin A)! Tell her to mix a capsule of Vitamin E with some honey and place it on the area before she sleeps every night (and to sleep with a towel) and also when she wakes up for a bit! She should also eat foods that are good for skin like Asparagus, Walnuts, Broccoli, Acai, Goji, Green Tea and of course protein since they help build our cellular structure! Good luck, I hope from the bottom of my heart that her skin heals 100%, tell her not to give up!
