TREND REPORT | MAKEUP

By Huda Heidi Kattan

Heeeey boos!! So with all the NYFW excitement, I thought what better time to start going through the trends than now?! So I wanted to do my favorite trend each week and show you guys how we can wear it at home! Of course these are from my favorite makeup artist, Max Facrtor’s Global Creative Design Director, Pat McGrath! The trend this week is Modern Chic, which I am OBSESSED with! It’s definitely one that I want to embrace since I am the queen of gold and bronze! I loooove golds and brown earthy tones, but these are still very natural and completely GORG! I am IN LOVE with some of these looks!! And this will definitely be my first tutorial to kick Fashion Week off!! Do you guys love it?!

The Look: A serene, modern chic beauty with smoldering eyes and bold, intense lashes that pop against flawless porcelain-like skin
The Inspiration: Sixties style muse, Penelope Tree, and Angelica Huston

The first look is perfection. I think it’s what makeup is supposed to do, which is to enhance ever so delicately.

This is great! Once fall settles in I have quite pale skin and would love for you to do a tutorial on how to make that work! Tanning beds are something i’ve given up in my old age and if i can skip the tan in a can this fall/winter i am willing to do so!
