NATURAL BEAUTY | SKIN

By Huda Heidi Kattan

Of all the beautiful women in history, no one really had the same effect on a man as Helen of Troy–any woman who can have a man build a massive horse, must be pretty smokin (Most people don’t realize that the story is actually true and the Trojan war completely happened)! Whether or not you believe the story a beauty secret said to have been Helen’s favorite beauty ritual is just as amazing today! Using Apple Cider Vinegar, Helen of Troy would rinse her face to get flawless gorgeous skin!

Using Apple Cider Vinegar is amazing for maaany reasons! First, it promotes skin renewal, so that means it works as a natural exfoliator, it also helps balance the PH levels of your skin and fights off acne! It’s actually one of the best ways to fight acne since it works as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory! This is sooo easy to do, but I must warn you, it definitely smells a bit strong, so use it when your significant other is not around, lol:)

Helen of Troy’s Acne Miracle for Gorgeous Skin!

Ingredients

1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 cup luke warm water
clean, empty water bottle

Mix together ingredients in a bottle shaking quite well. Soak a hand towel with the juice and set on face for 5 minutes. Splash with luke warm water when done and moisturize as usual. You can repeat this once a week, and use any excess juice as a toner with a cotton ball at night!

I tried this both as a toner and a hair rinse but cant stand the stench, its just sooo smelly. Can you suggest anything to mask/remove the smell?

Actually, there is much controversy about whether the Trojan War actually happened; archaeologists have found little concrete evidence (weapons, remains, artifacts that are usually markers of times of turmoil) in the areas that it was said to have happened.

I tried this years ago. My family hated the smell and my room always had the stench of vinegar. It wasn’t worth looking pretty if no one wanted to be around you :)

    Can’t wait to try this!
