Hey my loves!! So a few weeks ago I tried out the much-raved about lash extensions that most people love, but many hate! It was my first time, and I honestly loooooved them! After finally taking them off, and by taking them off I mean yanking them off, I realized that the whole they ruin-your-lashes-claim really depends on how you deal with them. My sister Mona and I both got them the same time (Mona got them 2 days before me) and both of us had completely different outcomes when we removed them! Mona was so gentle with them and didn’t wear any mascara while she had them on and they lasted for over 3 weeks looking full and gorgeous right until she removed them. Me on the other hand, I wear false lashes all the time I was very rough with them, yanking most of them out. I knew I wouldn’t be able to be gentle, but I told myself I would try to be! I was pretty careful, the first few days, but then went back to piling makeup on them and really kind of tugging at them! I had them on for a little over a week before they started to look scary, but Mona had them on for almost four! So my conclusion with lash extensions are they really are for women who are very gentle with their eye area and can go with lighter makeup! I also recommend getting lashes that are not too long, so they won’t irritate your eyes. As far as getting them all the time, I know women who do and they love them, so I think you can get them if you really want, just be VERY careful! Also, you have to make sure you have a great application! If your application sucks, then more than likely you will have one lash extension glued to multiple lashes which will make it more uncomfortable leading to more irritation and tugging at the lashes!
PS There will definitely be a shock factor when you remove them. When Mona took her’s off she was like “OMG, I think all my lashes fell off and just grew back in because they’re all so tiny.” When I saw her it was obvious they were just like they were before, but she was a bit shocked! Remember, it takes around 7 weeks for your lashes to grow, so if you did have any lashes that fell out while wearing the lash extensions, you wouldn’t see them yet, so if your lashes look shorter it’s just because you were wearing some insanely long lashes that make them appear tinier!

Hi Huda, the very first time I had lash extensions, I too absolutely loved them…until they had to come off. I was super gentle with my lashes, never wore mascara (didn’t need to), barely touched them when washing my face etc.
What I realised is: it’s not so much the pulling and tugging that damages your natural lashes but the glue itself. It must be the chemicals in the glue that weaken and in some instances pretty much melts away the natural lashes. That’s why they look so short, scarce and brittle once the extensions come off. I love the effect they give but it comes at the cost of damaging the natural lashes so I never got them again, and never will.
I’d rather put in the extra effort in building them up with mascara or just wear falsies. Thanks for sharing your experience
I had almost the same expereince , i used THE XTREME LASHES , they are very pricy i got them in DC, i even bought their mascara and their eye makeup remover, and they were done by a lash stylist.
Yes they looked beautiful, but at the end i paid that amount of money to ruin my lashes , plus you have to fill your lashes every 2 weeks if not you will see gaps which do not look cute at all.You take good care of them or not you will see the same results anyways.
I d rather use false ones , but at the end it s a personal choice
I ll recommend the xtreme lashes over any other lashes if you like the lash extenstion , at least they look very glamorous; Full, Think and Natural and very Chic and their lash stylists are well trained and licensed.

I’d rather wear the most natural looking falsies I can find.
I had them done and didn’t like it at all. They were done very well I just couldn’t get used to them and I like to wear eye makeup and really play around with it and I just couldn’t do that with extensions. Definitely not for me.

I prefer the HB falsies than this. HB false eyelashes looks fuller, thicker with more volume and most of all It looks natural when you wore them. Good luck with the launch, pretty sure it will be a huge success. People are already waiting and wanting to know when and where they can buy those lovely eye candies!
Hello, I REALLY LOVE U AND UR BLOG U ARE THE BEST!! I would like to know how to fix my eyebrows in the best way then how to paint them so that they will be thick but still looks great I really want to learn it because I havent thick eyebrows can you help me? what are your best tips? the brush and paint? I have black eyebrows have your eyebrows always been like that thick? or you can use any means to get them thicker you can recommend? hope to get an answer MUCH LOVE

Hi darling, they didn’t get deleted! I have someone who goes through and gets rid of spam (we get a ton of spam) and profanity, so sometimes it takes some time to approve them that’s all!
