PRODUCT REVIEW | MAKEUP

By Huda Heidi Kattan

I have been obsessed with the Hoola Bronzer from Benefit for the longest time, swearing that is the best bronzer for contouring! Of course I always use my Guerlain Terracotta 07 to add some warmth to the entire face, but I never imagined I’d ever find anything better for contouring, ever! My first reaction when I opened the package for this was O-M-G! The colors honestly could not be more beautiful and natural in tone! Guerlain always delivers when it comes to beauty and especially with their bronzers, but this one is just over the top! Hands down my ULTIMATE contour and bronzing makeup! It literally made my face look more defined and when I added more I looked like I had been sun bathing in the French Riveria, my kind of bronzer!

Guerlain 4 Seasons Bronzer Available where Guerlain in most major department stores

okay so i have no idea how i am going to make this into any sense but here goes. okay huda well below my brows the texture of my skin is not so even. not im not talking about the complextion or tone but the texture. it doesnt feel uneven but it does looks it. especially when i apply eyeshadow it doesnt look so attractive because the texture is not even. it looks like little little pores. im not so sure how to explain it. i have noticed that many people have very smooth skin under thiere brows and im actually starting to think im the only one with this problem. i hope i tried to make sense and if you have any tips or advice please huda help me out.

    Hi humi,
If I may answer your question cause I believe I understood what you mean by uneven skin under your eyebrow that looks like little pores. It might be due to many reason, one of them is the way you clean your eyebrows and remove the access hairs underneath your brow line. I’ve noticed that threading the eyebrows if done unprofessionally can cause serious damage, because it will break the hair from the middle and not remove it from the roots, therefore part of the hair will stay under the skin (like the ingrown we get on our legs and arms sometimes) and it will cause this uneven/unattractive look…
Using tweezers to clean the eyebrows is way much better (I tried both threading and tweezers and noticed the difference)… unless threading is done by a very very professional lady who knows how to deal with the hair and remove it from the roots without breaking it you don’t need to go there…
Finally, you might need to try a very gentle exfoliator (like those for the lips) to scrub this area under your brows, also try few squeezes of lemon juice, either put it directly there, or dip a cotton ball in lemon juice and wipe the area with it gently.
I’m sure Huda will be more able to help if she reads your question, but for now i hope my tips will help…
    best of luck
