A few weeks ago I was kind of in bind! Since my makeup is all waterproof (for the most part), it was hard for me to find something that could actually remove it! Not that I use a sharpie, but my eyeliner is almost permanent (thanks to Maybelline)! One of my girlfriends was telling me about how much she loved the Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes, but when I went to The Body Shop, it was sold out! Finally after 3 stores, I found it, yaaay!!!
Ok, so I actually have a few favorites already (I love the Neutrogena and Boots Face Wipes), but I gave this a try anyways! What I found was that the wipes SERIOUSLY removed my makeup–I give it a 4 out of 5 for makeup removal, since I did have to use 2, but it was very gentle! Now, what I looooove is that my skin has actually looked more beautiful after I use it! It looks more radiant and feels really good! It says that it tones and is packed full of Vitamin E and Antioxidants, but I can tell whatever is in it reaaaally works amazingly well on my skin! I totally get why it’s always sold out! I highly recommend this!

Hi Huda I’m not sure if you’re a Muslim or not, but for me I find that waterproof makeup makes it very hard for me to pray in but I love it. Would you recommend these wipes to take on the go with me for when it comes to praying so I can just remove, then do my wudu? Thank you!
Hi darling, great question, but no! For waterproof makeup, hands down my favorite makeup remover for eyes is the Bioderma Sensibo makeup remover which removes amazingly well!

Whoop whoop thanks for the advice!! Have you ever used Burt’s Bee’s sensitive skin one with white tea extract or something? Soooo gentle on the skin, removes makeup too (maybe not all of it).

is this good for acne prone skin??? i was searching for Neutrogena face wipe i didn’t find it, even from the boots
I have VERY sensitive skin and most products I try, break me out! This one has not at all! I was very worried, but my skin feels amazing afterwards!

huda can u pls tell me where can i get cetaphil oil free cleanser… i tried in many pharmacies they have the other one… not the one u suggested.. where can i get? any online stores if u can suggest ?

I HIGHLY Recommend using the Clinique #2 Toner! You can use a cleanser like Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, then use a small amount of the toner all over and follow with your favorite moisturizer. In the morning, just splash your face with water (don’t wash or use the toner) and apply a small amount of moisturizer if needed!
yaaaay im soooo exited that u answered….im gonna buy the clinique#2 toner today…huda im not using any moisturizer to my face.. dont know which one to pick..if u can suggest any???

i want to thank you for everything and all the advice and tips you give me. your advice and tips have honestly been a REALLY BIG help. i used to break out so badly especially on my forehead. i used to never see a clear forehead but honestly with your help i can see a total completely clear skin (mashallah) < lol just dont want to jinx it. your blog honeslty is the best blog i have ever visited in my entire life. i have seen many blogs in between but by far yours is the best and i know it ALWAYS will be. even though i have been able to achieve clear skin (mashallah) it has left me with acne scars. i have a few acne scars from my previous breakout so i was hoping if you have a remedy for that. thanks a lot, love you xxx
hudaaaaaaaa whats the best liner to use? i have a teary water line, nothing lasts
I would recommend using a gel liner then, since that stays quite well, just apply it with a VERY clean brush and try not to tear when you apply it:)

Hey huda I’m definitely going to try this product, I would like to recommended another body shop makeup remover which I believe is called camomile eye makeup remover which works great….. x
I went and bought this yesterday, the wipe is really gentle and it removed my make up easily (i wasn’t wearing too much eye makeup anyway, and nothing waterproof)so i used one wipe only and it was enough. Still didn’t see and extra special effect ony skin of course (not possible from one use only for sure) i will just give it some more time to be able to tell if it’s like other ordinary makeup remover wipes or not
It definitely takes time, but it’s very gentle on the skin and I swear it makes my skin glow!
