Everyone wants show-stopping hair, but sooooo many of us don’t actually do the very essential for gorgeous hair! As much as we need nourishment and hydration, sometimes all we really need is a good cleaning (even if you have dry hair)! I have used this mask for years, and I ALWAYS come back to it! It leaves my hair UNBELIEVABLY shiny and gives you INSANE volume!! I swear by this!
AWESOME SHINE & GORGEOUS HAIR MASK
Ingredients
1/3 cup raw honey
2 tablespoons almond oil (coconut oil can substitute)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Mix together ingredients and work into hair root to tip! Leave on hair for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then wash with shampoo and condition as usual. Style as usual

where do you get raw honey? how bad would it be to use bottled honey from the store?
local farmers markets sometimes have honey. depending on how big your town/city is check some stores in town. my town is pretty small and old so we have raw honey sold in some of the “antique” shops downtown. but most likely you can find it at the farmers market

No darling, only use Apple Cider Vinegar! There is def a difference in the acidity!
Raw honey? and hair wet or dry?
Regular Vinegar is also a natural Bleaching agent!!! (why it is used by so many to clean in their homes..)

Tried it this evening. Tbh, I don’t find anything different with my hair and I left it on for the full hour. Disappointing!
Are you supposed to put it in wet or dry hair? I have pretty long hair, and that doesn’t seem like very much to be able to put in dry hair roots to tips. Would it work if it were in wet hair or should I just make more of the stuff?

I found out yesterday there is definately a difference between raw and normal honey – for one, raw honey is mighty pricey! But I got some anyway and am gonna try this tonight, I will post my findings tomorrow..
Okay so I tried it, and my initial reaction is that it is very smelly! Also the honey may drip onto your face a little bit but you can just wipe it off. After washing it out I blew dry (keep in mind, with a little root lifter) and did not use hot rollers like I usually do. Typically the root lifter only gives me a little more volume, so this stuff must be great!!! It kind of looked like I had used my rollers. As for shine it didn’t add much but my hair is verrrrry dry. After sleeping on it I woke up to hair that I’m barely going to have to style today. It’s definately worth a try!

Hey I tried this mask the other day. I was a little disappointed as my hair became really dry, however my mum loved her hair. So I guess it’s better on finer hair, as my hair has more volume.
Thanks for this.. do you have any remedy for oily hair? My hair gets oily on the 2nd of hair wash.. it is oily on the crown part only and also my forehead, cheeks and upper lips have the same issue.. I will appreciate if you can provide me with the remedy.

Have you tried dry shampoo? I love it and it really helps lengthen my wash, plus it gives me volume! I also love Urban Decay’s DeSlick for oily t-zone!
I have dry frizzy and high volume hair. Nothing works for me to make them frizz free and shiny. Do you think this mask will work for my kind of hair?
