I’m not really sure who thought of this, but the first thing to comes to mind, is this safe? I know we all want to look and smell our best, but perfumed candy is definitely the last thing I am reaching for! Bulgarian candy Deo promises to make you smell like roses, and although I wanted to shoot this idea down as soon as I heard it, the science behind it definitely makes sense. Basically, if you eat rose oil, you will smell like roses! Of course there’s a lot of scientific mombo jumbo in there, but you get the idea!
I’ve heard of people who perspire garlic if they eat it too much, and I’ve definitely get whiff of some interesting aromas from people who eat strongly spiced food (some of my favorite foods actually), so to me this doesn’t sound too crazy! I’m not crossing this idea out, but for now it’s not exactly on my bucket list!
Would you guys try this?

Unless I had a serious stink problem, God forbid, I wouldn’t go for these things. I’d rather stick to perfume. It’s interesting stuff though! I wouldn’t mind giving it a try just to be honest. Thanks for sharing!
Well as an Aromatherapist I know you would have to use theraputic grade oils to take this internally. 2nd if you are using an oil regularly, especially internally it can affect your health positively if you need that therapy. Rose oil is used extensively to treat fertility & it works! It is however extremely expensive for 1oz of theraputic grade rose oil (several hundreds of US$) so this leads me to believe they may be using synthetic oil which can also negatively affect your health, & if not you are risking your health being affected by a drug you dont need (say like taking blood pressure meds when you have good blood pressure) & possibly having babies you arent ready for…. They need to get a grip! You know as well as I do Huda that natural remedies are powerful things! They would be having to use a large amount of oil to change a persons true smell from the inside out.. Not safe!
hi Huda, I’m from Bulgaria and I love your blog. I have seen these candies, they are in every shop, but honestly I haven’t try them because I thought the same thing as you “Are they safe’.
I would try this
Never never never-both my parents are doctors, you would be surprised how bad can a vitamine as a pil,be for our system, but it is a billion of dollars industry,so nobody touch, those big companies-our system can take vitamins safe only by foods, and that`s because most of the doctors especially in Europe do not recommend any kind of vitamins pills.
