The Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette Revealed
I’ve been waiting to show you guys the new #HudaBeautyDesertDusk eyeshadow palette for what seems like forever! I was so honored and happy with the response to our Rose Gold palette, and I knew that when we replaced it, it had to be something truly special. So, this time round, I’m taking you on an Arabian Journey…
The Colors
The team and I worked together to make sure each shade was stunning in its own right, but it was also important that they worked together and would complement each other. That was something that everyone loved from our Rose Gold Palette, and we had to make sure this palette created the same possibilities. We included a broad spectrum of 18 colors to make the palette as diverse as possible, so you can use it for everything: daytime, nighttime, glamorous events, and everything in between. Our four new unique textures add an extra dimension to each shade.
The Inspiration
Reflecting on the mysterious desert landscape that surrounds me, the colors of the desert at dusk became the perfect inspiration for pops of color and iridescent, shifting shades that transform with the light. The multi-hued tones of the sand and shimmering dunes I’ve fallen in love with are brought to life in the nude matte shades and pearlescent golden and bronze textures.
The Formulas
This time round, we wanted our palette to give you even more to play with. So, we created four different textures that would be easy to use and layer for ultimate #makeupgoals.
Eight Matte Shades: Of course, no palette would be complete without highly-pigmented, buttery-smooth mattes. We’ve included subtle sandy nude shades as well as vibrant purples and ochres.
Six Pressed Pearls: These pure pearl formulas create a high shimmer effect to add depth and intensity to your look. I love using these by themselves, the formula is just SO rich, but they also layer beautifully on top of mattes.
Three Duo-Chrome Toppers: This texture was so important to the palette as it perfectly captures the ever-changing illusions of the desert. You guys will die when you see how each shade transforms in the light!
One Pure Glitter: Glitter was a must for this palette! It just adds sooo much impact to your look. We combined magenta, bronze, and golden tones to create a luxurious glitter texture that looks insane all over the lid or just as a liner.
Where and When We’re Releasing!
We’re so excited to be launching this globally on September 18th! You’ll be able to get your hands on the palette in store in the UK at Harrods and Selfridge’s, in the UAE at Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Mirdif City Center, and Yas Mall, and across Europe at selected retailers. The palette will be available online at Sephora.com, for the US, Australia, and Canada, Cultbeauty.co.uk, and ShopHudaBeauty.com (we ship internationally!).
