I Can't Get Enough Of This New Gloss
If there’s one thing I could never get bored of, it’s trying new beauty products. I love the anticipation of seeing what a fresh product will do for you and the excitement that comes when you meet your new bae in a formula. It’s even better when something takes you by surprise, and that definitely happened with Urban Decay’s new Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss, $20.
First off, the 18-shade offering is pretty bomb; it also comes in four full-coverage, super-pigmented finishes, so whether you’re a metallic, glitter, and holographic kinda unicorn or prefer more subtle cream finishes, there’s one here for you.
The formula is glossy, and a little bit sticky, and they all have this tingling mint sensation thanks to peppermint oil, so you’re getting a little lip plump as well – who doesn’t want that? The gloss wears really nicely and is very comfortable, and the pointed doe foot applicator is flexible, so it hugs your lips, making precise application really easy.
I love the colors (especially Rapture, Dirty Talk, Beso, and Snitch), and the formula is so beautiful; I keep reaching for these! I like putting a small amount on top of my lip liner of Liquid Matte, and it gives a hit of hydration and extra dimension. If you’re looking for a new gloss for springtime, you will love these.
