You really can’t beat a good beauty bargain, which is why we’re constantly trying out new drugstore products to guarantee you guys can snap up the best. We’ll be real: there are some absolute gems out there but sometimes finding them involves patience. Luckily for you, we recently tried out three drugstore products that we fell in love with, thanks to their great results, all without the price tag. You can thank us later.

The Inkey List Succinic Acid Acne Treatment, $9

If the summer heat has sent your oil glands into overdrive (ditto), resulting in breakouts more common than usual, don’t fret, this non-drying targeted spot treatment is about to save the day. This pimple-flattening treatment brings together not one but three acne-fighting ingredients; 2% succinic acid, 2% sulfur powder, and 1% salicylic acid. These active ingredients work overtime to gently exfoliate the skin, unclog pores, and calm inflammation, thereby minimizing the size of your pimple over time. It also helps reduce oil and prevent future breakouts in that area. To ensure it doesn’t dry out your skin – like so many spot treatments do – it’s even formulated with 0.4% hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin.

We recommend applying twice a day (after your serum step and before moisturizer – give it a few mins to settle in before your next step) to get the best results. The formula works really well to reduce swelling and redness without any drying or irritation, which we love. Remember to pop this on rather than pop your spot!

Revlon So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara, $10

If there’s one product the drugstore aisle excels in, it’s mascara! And the new Revlon So Fierce! Big Bad Lash, $10, seriously came through with the goods. The double-edged brush instantly adds volume and fans out the lashes leaving your lashes looking thick but fluttery and whispy. The curvy Big Side adds volume, and the flat Bad Side fans out lashes for a panoramic effect. Plus, the long-lasting formula’s lash tint technology darkens natural lashes in under seven days with daily use. The formula is also enriched with soothing oils to ensure your lashes don’t become brittle over time.

It even held up when we put it through our rigorous wear test and didn’t flake throughout the day. However, we recommend lightly setting cream products used under the eye to ensure you stay smudge-free all day long.

Revlon So Fierce! Prismatic Shadow Palette, $10

Alongside the new mascara, we also tried the So Fierce! Prismatic Shadow Palette. There are five Prismatic Shadow Palettes each containing four shimmer shadows, and we were mesmerized by the color selection. There’s a perfect mix of everyday shades and vibrant hues so you can create anything from an understated look to something sultry and striking. When we tried the shimmer formula, we officially fell in love. The ultra-creamy shades have a polished finish with a high level of pearl that literally melts onto your lid. The suspended gel technology provides a bouncy texture and rich pigment payoff without any fallout. They also don’t crease or smudge and can be used wet or dry. We loved that it added a really stunning shimmer that you could build up from subtle to eye-popping.
