Hey my loves! I see so much crazy sh*it on TikTok, and one thing that I literally HAD to try were these Octocurl No Heat Curlers, $30. Heatless hair hacks and tools have been all over TikTok for the past two years, but I’ve never seen something as wild as this. So, of course, my team and I found them, and I was honestly SHOOK by the results. Check it out:

@hudabeauty OMG I’m obsessed with this Octopus heartless curler Whos tried it? #hudabeauty #foryou #xyzbca #hairtok #tiktokmademebuyit ♬ original sound – Huda Beauty💄

This weird octopus curling tool actually ticks every box: it’s easy to use, it doesn’t damage your hair, and the curl you achieve is soooo pretty. Plus, the entire process of securing your hair into the curlers only takes 10 minutes, and then you’re free to do whatever you like while your hair dries. It’s perfect for when you’re in a hurry as you can do the rest of your glam while your hair curls – you know I love a multi-tasking product. Check out what happened when I used them for the first time.

My Tips

Okay, so after using the octopus hair curlers, there’re a few things I recommend to help you achieve a more polished final look.

Tip 1: When it comes to heatless curl hacks, your hair should be damp, not wet – if it’s wet, it takes forever to dry! If your hair is dry, spray some water into your locks, as this will help hold the curl and ensure it holds.

Tip 2: As my natural hair texture tends to frizz, I like to smooth my roots first with the Dyson AirWrap Styler. However, you can also use a hairdryer and a large round brush to blow dry your roots.

Tip 3: Once you take the curls out, brush through your hair with a boar bristle brush for an old Hollywood wave, or use your fingers to comb through your hair for a more tousled finish.
