Step 1: No matter the look, Ta tells us he preps the face by cleansing with the Clarisonic Mia 3-in-1 Smart Connected Beauty Device, $169, and Daily Radiance Cleansing Brush Head, $29. “It’s great for all skin types and provides a thorough cleanse,” he says. If you’re looking for a more pocket-friendly option J-beauty brand Miniso offer a really good dupe; Deep Clean Ultrasonic Cleansing Brush, $20 (read our full review here).

Step 2: “I follow that step by popping on the Clarisonic Sonic Exfoliator Facial Brush Head, $39, to ensure I’m starting with a smooth, flawless base,” he adds.

Step 3: Lastly, Ta uses the La Mer Renewal Oil, $245, La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream, $180, and the La Mer Eye Concentrate, $225, to make sure skin is “fully prepped before makeup is applied.” If buying into a pricey cocktail of creams is beyond budget, your serum, eye cream, and moisturizer will do just the job.

Tip 1. Using monochromatic tones (eyes, lips, cheeks): Ta loves a monochromatic look (when you use the same shade for your eyes, lips, and blusher or bronzer) and has done this on several celebs with red, pink, bronze, and orange hues.

Tip 2. Comb your brow hair up: “The best way to pull this off is to use the end of the brush to set hairs in place, after using Iconic London Brow Silk, $28,” he explains.

Tip 3. Working with two different setting sprays: “A mattifying spray in the center of the face and a hydrating spray around the perimeter of the face.” This is KEY babes, so don’t overlook this tip.
