The Controller collects the following personal data in connection with this Event:

• Name and email address. Source: your existing Huda Beauty account, confirmed when you reply to the invitation. Purpose: to send the invitation, confirm attendance, share venue details and event logistics. Basis: your consent (reply to the invitation constitutes consent to use your data for event coordination).
• Emirates ID verification result (verified or not verified; no copy retained). Source: presented by you at check-in. Purpose: to verify your identity and Dubai residency. Basis: your consent and our legitimate compliance interest.
• Photographs and video in which you may appear. Source: captured by our crew at the Event. Purpose: to publish on Huda Beauty’s social media, website and marketing materials worldwide. Basis: your explicit consent, given by email and reconfirmed at check-in.
• Attendance record. Source: check-in at the Event. Purpose: event management and security. Basis: our legitimate interest in managing the Event safely.

We do not collect date of birth, phone number, Emirates ID number, home address or financial information in connection with this Event.

Members of Huda Beauty’s Dubai-based Community Team who administer the Event. Security staff at the venue, who verify your Emirates ID at the door but do not retain any data from it. Our photography and video production crew, in relation to Event content only. Our IT service providers who host our email systems, acting on our instructions. Our venue and security providers, in relation to access to and safety at the Event. We may also disclose your information where we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Our IT systems may store or process your information outside the UAE. We only transfer your information outside the UAE where the receiving jurisdiction is recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, or, where it is not, under a contract requiring the recipient to apply protections equivalent to those required under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.

If you consent to photography, content in which you appear will be published on global social media platforms and will be accessible worldwide. You consent to that transfer when you give your photography consent.

Name, email, attendance record and ID verification result: deleted within 60 days after the Event (by 16 November 2026).

Photography and video: If you consent to photography, we will use images and video in which you appear on Huda Beauty’s social media channels, website and marketing materials worldwide for as long as the content remains published, and in our content archive thereafter. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing community@hudabeauty.com, and we will remove the content from channels we control within a reasonable period; withdrawal does not affect use that has already taken place.

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, you have the right to:

• ask what information we hold about you and receive a copy in a machine-readable format;
• ask us to correct or complete inaccurate information;
• ask us to delete your information;
• ask us to restrict or stop processing your information;
• object to processing for direct marketing purposes; and
• withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
