How To Glam On The Go Like A Pro

Makeup

As you guys can probably guess, I’m constantly on the go. I’m always running between meetings and business trips, meanwhile trying to spend as much time as I can with my daughter Nour. And don’t get me wrong, I love every second of it and I feel so blessed, but this does mean I’ve perfected my glam on-the-go routine!

Recently, I even did a full glam sesh 35,000 feet in the air, starting with my essential skincare routine and finishing with my highlighter – I literally went all in! The entire routine only took me 30 minutes and I squeezed in two face masks! Check it out:

My Top 3 Tips For Makeup On-The-Go

1. Find a good brush: Without a good brush, your makeup will never bring its A-game, so invest in a multitasking brush that can do it all – from bronzer to highlighter and blush. A medium fluffy brush is a great option as you can mold it into the shape you want. You can even transform it into a fan brush with a bobby pin and use it for highlighting.

2. Find multitasking products: The more time you spend playing and experimenting with makeup, the more you realize that one product, actually has sooooo many different uses. Lipstick is a prime example, a rosy lipstick can double up as crème blush so easily, as can a Liquid Matte. Sometimes we even use our Liquid Matte on our lids for a seriously pigmented look. Similarly, a good eyeshadow palette has so much potential – if it has the right shades and shimmers you could use it to contour, brighten, or even use it as highlighter.

3. Beauty blender: I would literally be lost if I didn’t have my Basic B sponge. I like to use it to apply my foundation, concealer, contour, and baking, as it picks up, packs on, and blends out product so easily.

My Top 3 Tips For Skincare On-The-Go

Hydration is everything: When I’m traveling or prepping for a big event, my main concern is my skin’s moisture levels as my skin gets dehydrated really easily. I love to carry a serum with me, as it’s super lightweight but mega hydrating so it won’t leave my skin feeling greasy. Find out more about our favorite serums here.

Invest in a sculpting beauty tool: I couldn’t live without my Nurse Jamie Uplift Massaging Beauty Roller, $69 – it’s amaaazing! You can actually see the difference in the tightness of your skin. It boosts lymphatic drainage so it helps rid your skin of any toxins that cause puffiness, while also tightening your muscles making your face look more chiseled. Jade rollers are another great sculpting tool that I love to use.

Use face masks regularly: I’m obsessed with masks; in fifteen minutes they can give your skin such a beautiful, natural glow. I use one pretty much every day to seal moisture into my skin and without a doubt, I always do one (or two) on the plane as the altitude seriously dehydrates your skin.
