My Fave Kylie Collection So Far!

Makeup

Kylie Koko Collection

When the latest Kylie Collection came across my desk, I was so psyched to see it was a collaboration with her sister Khloe Kardashian. I love Khloe, she’s so kind, sweet, and really supportive, and I love her style. This new collab with her sister is so gorgeous and I’m dying over the shade names (Khloe fans will love!) and the shades in this collection are bomb. The Koko Kollection includes a 9-pan eyeshadow palette, one highlighter, two liquid lipsticks and a lip liner; here’s my full review:

Koko Kollection True Mama Kylighter, $20

Kylie Koko Collection

This looks really pretty on, and the pinkish, gold pearls complement different skin tones well. It’s not my fave highlighter as it does have some glitter in it, but it does look stunning on the cheekbones, I just wouldn’t recommend it for the nose or forehead. The formula applies really nicely with a brush – I love to use the Real Techniques Setting Brush, $8, for popping, targeted highlight.

Koko Palette Kyshadow, $42

I LOVE these colors so much! The pigment payoff off the mattes is really impressive and they apply and blend really well without going patchy.

Must Be True (top right) makes a really nice base shade and it’s really brightening and has very little fallout. True’s Mom (top middle) is a light brown shade that makes a great crease shade for fairer skin tones, while Truezeldorf (bottom right) is a great crease shade for richer skin tones and works well to create a soft winger liner look. Both of these brown shades had a little more fallout than the other mattes, but not too much, and they blended like a dream.

The shimmers are really pretty with very fine glitters in; they’re buildable and pick up well on brushes, but for even more shine, use your fingers. The bright white shade, True Faith (top left), is a little more glittery than the other shades, and it looks so pretty on the inner corners of eyes or as a topper on the other shimmers. Overall this palette is gorgeous, and although it’s not super diverse, you can create some really nice daytime looks and some stunning soft glam looks with this. Plus, it’s so easy to use and apply.

The Matte Liquid Lipsticks, $17 each

Beyond the fact that both of these shades are SO beautiful, the names are everything: The Bigger The Hoops is a rosy pink shade, and Allergic To Bullshh*t is a really sexy, soft pink nude shade. Both shades are creamy and glide on easily, and the doe-foot applicator makes precise application super easy. They set quickly (less than a minute) and although you can feel them on your lips a bit, it doesn’t feel too drying.

Handbag Ho Lip Liner, $12

Kylie Koko Collection

This is such a creamy lip liner! It glides on like a dream and sets and lasts. The shade is a like a 90s brown shade and worked well with the Allergic To Bullsh*t shade, but it was very contrasting with the pink The Bigger The Hoops shade.

Overall I really like this collection! My fave pieces are the gorgeous eyeshadow palette and liquid lipsticks. Let me know what you guys like in the comments below.
