MODEL PROFILE | LARA STONE
By Huda Heidi Kattan

It’s a models dream to be on the cover of a magazine as epic as Vogue, and there are a few faces that regularly flaunt on the cover, one of those faces is unique half-Dutch-half-Brit beauty Lara Stone.  You may recognize her from the recent LV ad campaign, but Lara has been around for a while and is now of the most sought after supermodels in the fashion industry.

The Dutch Diva now 26 years old, had modeled since her early teens, but didn’t really make a splash in the industry until 2006, after opening for Givenchy haute couture show in Paris. Since then, she has walked the runway for Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Lanvin, Miu Miu, Prada, Anna Sui, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Zac Posen, Balmain, Hermès, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana, Karl Lagerfeld, and the list goes on.

Lara has been on numerous covers including, French, Italian, British, Japanese and American Vogue, Elle, W, i-D, and has been in campaigns including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Jill Sander, Prada, D-Squared, Calvin Klein, and many more.

She is known for her not-so-perfect smile, displaying a gap between her teeth and her uniquely “wobbly” walk attributed to her small feet (size 7 US at 5’10”).  These “imperfections” have launched her career and made her one of the highest models in demand.
