There’s no denying it, nail art is HOT right now! And while it’s really cool to see new designs come out, I’ve always thought Nail Crackle is the easiest way to get nail art at home! But not all crackle is created equal! This week I got to try out the crackle from Ciate and this is what I found:

The Ciate Nail Crackle is actually pretty sweet! It comes in a two polish duo, where one is metallic and the crackle is not. I love the shades that they come in and would completely wear them alone! The price is also decent (around $25 for the duo), but for the quality of polish, it’s definitely a steal!

One of the reasons why I have fallen in love with Ciate polish is because the formula is soooo rich and long-lasting! Honestly, for the crackle, I definitely get the great pigment as with most of Ciate, but for some reason the red crackle took soooo long to dry! It also crackled a little weird because it wouldn’t dry fast!

The Overview
As much as I love Crackle and Ciate, I don’t think I would purchase the red kit again! I tried so many times and it still took so long to dry and crackled funny! The purple one was GORGEOUS and I have to say was one of the best crackles I’ve ever used! I like the colors in the burgundy kit more, and the Oil Slick (metallic green-gold) looks just like Peridot from Chanel!

Compared to OPI, Dior, Nails Inc, this polish is definitely better since it drys faster making it easier to crackle!
