How To Wear Spring’s Hottest Color Trend: Pastels

pastel eyeshadow trend

Pastels are literally everywhere right now, and it’s easily the cutest spring trend! As Miranda Priestly might say, “Pastels? For spring? Groundbreaking.”

Just like florals for spring, pastels might not be the most revolutionary, but damn they look pretty, and we’re here for that! Although we’ve been in love with mint for a long time, this year pastels are coming back in full force, with designers like Louis Vuitton, Max Mara, Sally LaPointe, Olivia Rubin, and more dressing models head-to-toe in tone-on-tone pastels while the makeup world is going mad for the delicate shades. Of all the pastels, lavender and mint are definitely going to be here to stay for 2020.

3. To make pastels pop, use a light-colored concealer as a base.

This works especially well for deeper skin tones, as pastel shades can have a tendency to look a little grey. The concealer will also help to grip pigment in place to prevent fading.
