Concealer 101: How To Hide Dark Circles And Pimples!

Hacks

concealer tricks

Hey my loves! Concealer has to be one of the most powerful tools in a makeup kit – it can literally transform your face. Whether you’re covering blemishes, contouring or hiding dark circles, a little concealer in the right place is a miracle worker. Currently, I’m loving using liquid concealers for under my eyes, as they tend to be easier to blend than stick concealers and don’t pull your delicate eye area. I also swear by the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer, which not only covers dark circles really well but it also helps to improve them over time!

Tips for choosing a concealer shade:

For covering pimples: Use a concealer the same shade as your foundation. If you use a lighter or darker shade, it will draw attention to the area.
For covering dark circles: Choose a concealer two shades lighter than your foundation and look for golden tones, which will balance out purple/ blue circles.
For covering dark patches and pigmentation: Look for a concealer with an orange tone, as this will work to color correct and conceal at the same time.
