Our First Ever Setting Spray Will Give You A Flawless Resting Boss Face!
I’m so excited to finally show you guys our first ever setting spray, Resting Boss Face! Whenever I do my makeup I never touch up, and this has become my secret weapon for keeping my makeup set all day – I literally use it in so many ways! The formula is unlike anything else (it took us three years to create), and I love how it just helps makeup melt and blend into the skin.
The Inspiration
We were inspired by the incredible makeup skills of drag queens and their hack for making their makeup last all day by using hairspray to set their full glam looks!

We decided we had to create an ‘extra-hold’ formula that was super long-lasting and heavy duty, that would do the same job as hairspray, but without any harmful effects on the skin. Just like hairspray, Resting Boss Face delivers a layer of ultra-fine mist evenly across the face for a comfortable, matte finish that doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry.
And OMG guys, the final result is so divine, it really melts makeup together and keeps it locked in all day!

For our campaign, we called on ‘The Queens,’ Farrah Moan, Shea Couleé and Violet Chachki to help support me and bring this amazing product to life, and they came through with so much incredible inspiration – and some amazing makeup hacks! I was SO happy to see how much they loved the product and the nostalgia it brought back.
My Tips for Using Resting Boss Face
- Shake well before use and keep eyes and mouth closed during application.
- Hold setting spray roughly 8 inches away from the face before applying.
- Mist face two to four times in a circular motion after makeup has been applied.
I love to spray Resting Boss Face directly onto a beauty sponge and then press it into my face to seal in the makeup for the day! For a dewy finish, I Spray my blender with Resting Boss Face and then dip it into a cream or liquid highlighter, like our Melted Strobe formula, and dab it onto cheekbones for the most stunning, dewy glow that shines all day.
