If you’re in need of some major makeup inspiration, you’re not alone! With everything that’s happened this year, makeup inspo hasn’t been as forthcoming without the regular red-carpet events, and even beauty trends have begun to slow down. However, thankfully some celebs are still showing up and serving us some jaw-dropping looks. From Lizzo’s modern Haze smokey eye to Rihanna’s cobalt blue liner, here are five celeb makeup looks you’ll want to recreate this weekend, and how to do them at home.

1. Lizzo’s Haze Smokey Eye

Lucky for us, not only did Lizzo’s go-to makeup artist, Alexx Mayo, slay this flawless look but he also spilled the deets on how he created it. To achieve this sexy smokey eye, Alexx used the new Huda Beauty Haze Obsession Palette, $29, in Khaki.

Haze obsessions

To get the look, start by creating a soft base using the chocolate shade (bottom right). To add dimension, layer the deeper shades together on a soft, fluffy brush, tap to remove excess pigment, and work the brush into your crease using back and forth motions. Always remember to smoke the shadow outwards towards the tail of your brow for a sultry finish. Pop a little shimmer on the inner corner and center of the lid to add dimension.

To complete the look, Alexx applied a pair of Tatti Lashes TL19 Faux Me, $12, and the new Pat McGrath X Supreme Lipstick, $36, on her lips.

2. Shanina Shaik’s Dolphin Skin

Everything about this look is straight fire, from the brushed-up brows to the dolphin skin and sexy smokey eye. If you’re currently questioning, “WTF is dolphin skin?” It’s that perfectly glossy, wet-looking skin as showcased on supermodel Shanina Shaik. To achieve the coveted skin look, check out our dolphin skin step-by-step guide. We love how MUA Nikki_Makeup complemented the glossy skin by playing up Shanina’s freckles, which can easily be achieved with the Freck The Freck OG Freckle Pen, $22, or a soft brown eyeshadow and a precision liner brush.

Another element of the look that we’re obsessed with, is her brushed-up brow. The easiest way to achieve this brow look is to fill in your brows using hair-like strokes (Benefit’s new brow pen is amazing for this), then brush the hairs upwards with a long-hold gel-like the Benefit Cosmetics 24-HR Brow Setter Shaping & Setting Gel, $24. The super-strong formula sets brows in place all day without flaking or feeling like glue.

3. Rihanna’s Cobalt Eyeliner

Rihanna is the queen of playful makeup looks, and this cobalt liner only confirms her reign. Created by her go-to MUA, Priscilla Ono, this look is fierce, on-trend, and easier to achieve than you may think, thanks to the thickness of the liner.

To DIY this look, take the Fenty Beauty Flypencil Longwear Pencil Eyeliner, $22, and start by creating the wing, tracing along your lash line all the way to the inner tear duct. When you reach the inner tear duct, exaggerate the inner corner with liner. Next, take the liner along the lower lash line so it meets the wing. Once you have the shape perfected, layer to build width or keep it skinnier for a less dramatic look. By building it up slowly, it makes it easier to correct any mistakes. To finish, clean up any uneven edges with a Q-tip and micellar water. Complete the look with the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color in Uncensored, $25.

4. Kendall Jenner’s Pastel Purple Look

For a cute daytime look, take note from supermodel Kendall Jenner who created this stunning pastel look with MUA Mary Phillips – we love how Mary has contrasted the soft color with dark eyeliner all the way around the eye. Our new Huda Beauty Haze Obsessions Palette, $29, in Purple is perfect for recreating this look (Mary used the sold-out Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics Collection).

Haze obsessions

Start by creating a wash of color all over the lid with a soft fluffy brush and a pastel purple shadow. For depth, take a slightly deeper shade and buff the shadow into your crease, dragging the shadow outwards, toward the tail of your brow. Next up, take a black liner with a precision tip, and create a thin wing, starting a third of the way along your lash line. Then, using a pencil liner, line your lower and upper watershed. Our Huda Beauty Life Liner Dual-Ended Pencil and Liquid Eyeliner, $25, is ideal for this look. Finish by adding a cool-toned shimmer on the inner corner to open up the eye. Pair with lashings of mascara and a nude gloss.

5. Yara Shahidi’s Dewy Glow

Every time we see a snap of Yara Shahidi, we’re in awe of her radiant glow, and as you’d expect, it always starts with a bomb skincare routine. To prep her skin for this Emmy’s look, celeb MUA, Emily Cheng, used three key products to hydrate, plump, and soften her skin. Emily started with a facial steam to cleanse and clarify her pores and to encourage the absorption of her following glow-getting skincare formulas. She then applied the Sisley Paris Flower Gel Mask, $144, and the Augustinus Bader The Cream, $185.

As for her complexion, Emily used the Bite Beauty Change Maker Supercharged Micellar Foundation, $39.50, in shade T135 and T105, and the cult classic NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer, $30, in Caramel and Truffle. Finish the look with a sexy liner flick, brushed-up brows, and a subtle shimmer gloss.
