This $9 Lipstick Will Make Your Lips Look SO Good!
You can never have too many lipsticks! And, when they’re as affordable as these new Milani Cosmetics Amore Satin Matte Lip Crème, $9, you’re going to wanna get more than one.
Milani’s newest formula is a transfer-proof liquid matte lipstick that lasts for hours, and because it’s made with shea butter and soybean oil, it feels super comfortable – none of that ‘my lips feel drier than the Sahara desert’ feeling! The formula is also super pigmented, so with just one swipe, you get full-color payoff and no streaking. The application is extra easy thanks to a rounded wand that makes painting and overlining the lips foolproof.
The 12 shades in the collection are really beautiful, although we wish there were more. Our faves are 03 Fancy a beautiful pink, 11 Elegant, a rich, red-brown, 07 Classic, a bold mauve, and 01 Satin, a bright red. Seriously, all of these shades looked amazing and made our lips look so full and luscious!
We also tried out applying the new Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper, $9, on top of the matte lipsticks, and honestly, it was such a beautiful combo. The formula is infused with hydrating hyaluronic acid, natural peptides to boost collagen and the non-sticky formulas feels good on the lips; helping to smooth out lines and add volume. If you like a little tingling on the lips, you’ll love this – it tingles for about 30 mins, although it’s not uncomfortable.
By adding a gloss on top, you do reduce the wear of the product, but we found that it still looked good for a couple of hours before we topped up. The gloss has 16 shades in total; some are opaque, while others are sheer with a hint of shimmer – they look gorgeous alone or layered on top of matte lipsticks.
