Ok, I am going to get a little philosophical:), but I have always believed and said that we are manifestations of our habits.  Bad habits come easy and sometimes unconsciously. What habits we choose to ignore, could be defining us AND the way we look, good or bad!  In case you are one of the thousands of women (and men) who practice bad beauty habits, I am here to tell you to try to stop!  Here are three bad beauty habits that could also be affecting your health and should be banished immediately!!

  1. Skipping the floss: A friend of mine once told me that one of the common links between centenarians (people who live above 100 years old) is that they all floss! Yes, it helps keep your smile beautiful and white, but it also helps keep you alive and healthy!
  2. Biting Your Nails: If you are looking for long beautiful healthy looking nails, then biting your nails is a BIG no no! It will leave your nail bed looking unhealthy rigged and cause hangnails as well as ragged cuticles! Not so hot!
  3. Being Unprotected: Sunglasses may provide you with a little more than a fashion statement. Sunglasses help protect your eyes from UV rays which cause wrinkles, premature aging, not to mention damage to your cornea and vision!
