Recently I posted about the importance of finding the right shampoo for hair fall (particularly in men) and my inbox was literally inundated with questions about hair. There were so many it made it really hard to reply to everyone, so I decided to add some more information about hair health and growth in different post! At the end of the day, who doesn’t want healthy gorgeous hair (you know, the kind that moves in slow motion like all those hair commercials)? Sooo, without overdoing it, I will try to post more about healthy hair for everyone out there and I really, really hope it helps you closer to the hair you’ve always wanted!
One of the first things we need to focus on is diet, “cause if you ain’t eaten, you’re hair ain’t growin!” Diet is unbelievably important when it comes to beauty! Eating the right nutrients will do wonders for your skin, hair, energy and of course body. And I know from first hand experience, it gets really hard to make sure you eat every 2-3 hours to maintain your diet and metabolism, but there are some snacks that are great on the go! Take Nuts for instance! Brazilian nuts, cashews, walnuts, pecans, and almonds are PHENOMENAL for healthy hair! They are packed with vitamins, Omega 3, selenium, and zinc that all keep your hair and scalp super healthy, which promotes extra hair growth and health. Many natural food stores will carry them raw so you can make your own healthy hair mix!! Here’s to gorgeous locks!!
