We Tried The Coffee-Inspired Brand With 2.4 Million Views On TikTok

We’ll be real, we can’t function without our daily caffeine hit… And we’re not the only ones. We recently noticed TikTok showing a latte love (in the form of 2.4 million views) to Espressoh., an Italian, coffee-inspired makeup brand. We finally got to try some of their best-sellers, including their TikTok famous gossy blush, and we’re all kinds of obsessed. Here’s everything you need to know about Espressoh’s rich, pigmented, and coffee-smellin’ formulas.

Founder Chiara wanted to create a beauty brand just like her – unique, powerful, and “made in Italy.” Everything in her collection – from eyeliner to lipstick, skin tint to mascara – is inspired by Italian espressos and infused with coffee-derived ingredients like caffeine and coffee Arabica seed oil.

1. GLASSY – Blush by the glass, $26

What it is: A clear jelly blush that transforms into a universally flattering pink hue when applied to the skin.

Our thoughts: We saw this product all over social media, so we were super excited to try the innovative formula that reacts to your skin’s pH to create a tinted glow. As soon as we applied it to our cheekbones, we were blown away by the pigment payoff. It also has the most stunning high-shine glossy finish so if you’re a dewy skin lover, this one is for you. The finish also lasted for hours and didn’t move our makeup underneath when we carefully dabbed it on top.

Be aware: a little goes a LONG way so you only need a tiny bit of product. Apply a tiny dollop to the back of your hand and gently dab on your cheekbones for a skin-like, rosy glow. Although, don’t limit the application to your cheekbones as it creates the easiest glossy lid, lip, and cheek combo.

We also noticed that the pigment popped more prominently on top of other makeup products, so if you’re trying it on totally bare skin, the effect is less intense and you get more of a glossy, highlighter finish. We see this as being a go-to for no-makeup makeup lovers, but if you love a full beat, you may prefer a classic, pigmented blush.

Our thoughts: The rich coffee scent? Divine and appreciated early in the morning. The velvety formula glides and sits comfortably on your lips without drying. Although, the creaminess of the formula does make it prone to transferring, so keep it for post-snack top-ups.

The shades: There’s a mixture of cool and warm hues to suit all skin tones (find out whether you have a cool or warm undertone here). Overall, there’s a stunning mix of rich browns, pinkish nudes, and head-turning reds. Among the Huda Beauty testing team, the brown hue, Mok’Amour, was a major hit, as was the red shade Rossoh, while the shade Pummarò, was popular with our besties with warm undertones.
3. SWEETandSOUR Eyeshadow Palette, $29

What it is: A four-pan eyeshadow palette with three pigmented mattes and a white, sparkly shimmer. The shades include Moka, a deep brown; Amaretto, a muted brown; Tabasco, a brick red; and Spritzy, a silver glitter on a clear base.
Our thoughts: As soon as we opened this palette, we were seriously intrigued by the unexpected color story. However, after doing some research, we discovered the shades are intended to be worn alone, for a simple yet standout monochromatic look.

When we applied the rich mattes, we fell in love with the powder to cream texture, which allows for seamless and effortless application. There’s a little bit of fallout, so be sure to dip your brush and lightly tap off any excess formula before applying it to your lid. It didn’t crease throughout the day and remained pigmented. We also experimented with layering the brown hues and created a really stunning brown smokey eye, so there’s no need to limit yourself to a single shade look.
Our final thoughts: This coffee-smellin’ collection was the yummiest highlight of our day. The blush lives up to the hype, while the lipsticks and eyeshadow formulas are creamy, pigmented, and unique. In short, we’ve got a whole latte love for them.
