Hey my loves! Because men have thicker skin, and Chris has oilier skin more prone to breakouts and clogged pores, he needed a little more scrubbing power! Anyway, as we tested it together, I just fell in love! I literally love to use this detoxifying scrub everywhere – I do vajacials with it, my underarms, chest, even my elbows and knees! Yo Detox Formula: What’s In It!
This detoxifying 4-in-1 formula tackles skin exfoliation on four levels: enzymes, acids, detoxifying charcoal, and soft cellulose (that physically yet gently exfoliates), so you get all the benefits without the downtime (no irritation and no redness). The scrub is perfect for days when you need a more intensive, deep skin cleanse! We formulated Yo Detox to be suitable for all skin types, but as it is more intense than our OG Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub, we recommend using Yo Detox only once or twice a week, while Yo Glow can be used as often as every day. I love to use Yo Glow most days before I do makeup, but on Saturdays, which is like my beauty reset day (think nose hair trimming, face shaving!), I use Yo Detox. It’s the perfect formula for an intense reset, which I then follow with our WISHFUL Thirst Trap Cocoon Mask and a super hydrating skincare routine.
Yo Detox Ingredients:
Charcoal: The ingredient responsible for giving Yo Detox its unique grey hue, charcoal is the ultimate clarifying skin hero. It contains oil-absorbing properties to remove impurities, plus grease and residue in your pores and on the skin’s surface. Post scrub, your pores will look snatched and feel instantly more refined.
AHA & BHAs: Alpha hydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acids help clean deep into pores and dissolve dead skin cells, reducing dark spots and evening skin texture and tone.
Papaya Fruit Extract: Papaya contains the enzyme papain, which is known to smooth and increase skin clarity for a radiant glow while antioxidants help to fight free radical damage.

How To Use Yo Detox:

My Tips:
Use 1-2 times a week! Use it on your face or body – I love to use it on my décolletage, underarms and bikini line. You can even use Yo Detox alongside Yo Glow; use Yo Glow when you need a gentle refresh or before makeup and switch it out for Yo Detox once or twice a week when you need a deeper, more detoxifying fix. I love to use Yo Detox 24 hours after hair removal to help prevent ingrown hairs.
