Finally! Nude Eyeshadow Palettes For Every Skin Tone
When it comes to nude eyeshadow, there’s no real trend – it’s about what nude means to you. Everyone needs a good basic nude palette, but my nude isn’t yours, and we wanted to finally create a collection of nude eyeshadows that would cater to every skin tone. So, we created three nude palettes – Light, Medium, and Rich – each one designed to look amazing on all skin tones, while giving everyone the opportunity to define their own nude.
The Inspiration
When we created our New Nude palette, we wanted to recreate what nude is. During this process, we realized how different the perfect nude eyeshadow is for every skin tone; a ‘nude’ lipstick for a fairer skin tone wouldn’t look nude on me, and the same goes for eyeshadow and other makeup products. It shouldn’t just be limited to complexion products, and we were surprised we’d never seen it done before!
So, using our vast knowledge of undertones and tones from our complexion products, we created three palettes each with the perfect nude collection for each skin tone, plus something a little bit different. Of course, you can choose whichever palette speaks to you, and you can mix and match them too. This is your nude, so you can wear it your way.
The Nude Obsessions Palettes:
Light NUDE Obsessions
A beautiful balance of light and creamy praline hues with both warm and cool tones. From peachy and champagne shades that look stunning on the lid to richer brown and mauve hues that are perfect for the crease. Unexpected pops of lavender and shimmers allow you to create dimension with every look.
Medium NUDE Obsessions
My absolute favorite palette, this is a rich mix of spicy tones combining chestnuts, deep browns, and warm mauves. Metallic shimmers in rose gold, rustic copper, dusty pink, and terracottas pop on the skin and lid.
Rich NUDE Obsessions
A dreamy collection of rich, creamy matte shades in dusty roses, crimson reds, rich berry, and sandy fawn with pink undertones. Burnished gold, blushed bronze, dusty rose, and deep brown metallics add dimension and drama.
The Formulas
Just like the other Obsessions palettes, each palette has nine super-pigmented, creamy and ultra blendable shades that give maximum color payoff. Each Nude Obsessions palette has five buttery matte shades and four complementary shimmer metallic shadows that work together in perfect harmony or as stand-alone shadows.
How to Wear the Nude Obsessions:
- For a classic nude eye, use the lighter mattes to create a base, then blend the deeper shadows into the crease.
- Use your ring finger or a little setting spray on an eyeshadow brush, to apply the shimmer and metallic shades to the center of your eyelid or the inner corner.
- Use a smudge or liner brush, to create liner looks either on the upper lid or along the lower lash line with the richest shades.
