Hey my loves! It’s Monie here, AKA the perfume princess. I’m literally soooooo excited to introduce our new KAYALI juice: Lovefest Burning Cherry | 48. I know I say this every time, but this has to be my favorite fragrance in our KAYALI collection. It’s just soo beautiful, so intense, so hypnotic – every time I spritz it on my skin, I feel invigorated and alive. It instantly awakens my senses and my free spirit.

Infused with rich, fruity notes like cherry (the hero note), and effortlessly intertwined with woody, earthy tones, it’s a sensual, unique scent that catapults you along the most tantalizing fragrance journey. I’ve been wearing it non-stop and layering it with all my other KAYALI babies. I can’t wait for you guys to try it and I know you’re going to be as obsessed as I am.

The Inspiration

Have you ever smelled something so beautiful and utterly hypnotic that it instantly lights your soul on fire? Lovefest Burning Cherry | 48 instantly took me to a beautiful, seductive escape, which I knew I had to share with you guys.

When my team and I began developing this juice, I chose to focus on the cherry note as the main ingredient. I always think of it like the cherry on top of the cake: Shirley temples, whipped cream, and waffles. It’s just such a sweet scent that evokes the happiest memories. However, I knew I wanted to add a twist and make it smokier, woody, and more captivating than other cherry-based scents I had tried. So, we added a rich combination of sensual base and middle notes, sourcing some of the most unique and special notes in the world. The addition of palo santo notes and guaiac wood made this the euphoric scent I was craving. Whenever I spritz this perfume, I feel grounded, present, and truly connected.

To me, it’s the ultimate celebration of love, hope, and freedom. I actually kept on envisioning festivals like Burning Man and Coachella when we were creating this juice, it just exudes this joyous energy… I’m literally obsessed.

The Notes

Lovefest Burning Cherry is the ultimate, complexly-rich cherry juice – a true gourmand fragrance, which basically means it’s so mouthwateringly delicious you’ll want to eat it.

Any KAYALI fans will know we create our juices with Firmenich, the luxurious French fragrance house. For this gourmand scent, we used the unique Smell-The-Taste technique, which brings the figurative side of the food-based scents and transforms it so as soon as you smell it, it evokes that tantalizing taste sensation.

First, you’re met with the intoxicating dark cherry intertwined with juicy raspberries and the delicate sweetness of caramelized praline before sparkling notes of Italian bergamot are revealed. In the heart of the fragrance, you’ll smell the floral elegance of Damascena essence, spicy Jasmine Sambac India, and heliotrope, which combines vanilla, almond, and cinnamon.

This succulent sweetness is contrasted by the smokey, earthy notes of palo santo and guaiac wood from the wild Bursera graveolens tree that is native to South America. This is paired effortlessly with warm, ambery Peru Balsam notes that create the most harmonious alluring juice. It takes you on the most unexpected journey, setting your senses alive with the most intoxicating, magnetic cherry scent. Seductive, euphoric, and utterly irresistible.

• Spray Lovefest Burning Cherry | 48 on your pulse points (e.g., inside wrists, behind the knees, center of your chest, nape of the neck, and behind the ears) as well as on clothes for a more powerful scent trail.
• For even longer wear, moisturize with a balm or lotion before spritzing it on your body!
• For a delicate diffusion, spray on your towel before drying your hair or directly onto your hairbrush prior to styling!
