My Fave 5 Serums I Swear By For Glowing Skin
It’s safe to say that I’ve tried thousands of products over the years on my journey to healthy, glowing skin. Honestly, one of my fave products to try are serums as they can be so skin-transforming. With that said, there are a lot of average serums out there, so you have to know what to look for and what will work for your skin type.

In the past few years, I’ve seriously refined my daily routine and singled out the serums that guarantee major results every. single. time. Depending on what my skin needs, I alternate between these five insane formulas or I layer them for the ultimate glow-getting routine.
1. For Plump Skin: Tatcha The Dewy Serum Resurfacing and Plumping Treatment, $88
I’ve been obsessed with this new addition to Tatcha’s Dewy Skin line since it launched at the end of last year! The three-in-one serum helps to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves uneven texture thanks to its concentration of lactic acid from Hadasei-3™, which supports skin cell renewal. It’s also formulated with hyaluronic acid and squalane to lock in moisture and leave your skin feeling plump, soft, and radiant. I love how it helps to smooth and retexturize!
2. For Dewy Skin: Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops, $34
Whenever I’m going for a minimal makeup vibe, I LOVE to use this serum. It’s infused with a blend of niacinamide to reduce hyperpigmentation, protect and brighten the skin, as well as watermelon extract to deliver a surge of glow-getting vitamins and amino acids. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s also enriched with hyaluronic acid to plump and moisturize. I love it as it leaves your skin with such a beautiful dewy finish. Plus the packaging is SO cute and it smells like watermelon. #Obsessed.
3. For Pores: WISHFUL Thirst Trap HA3 Peptide Serum, $47
What some of you may not know is this serum was actually inspired by our Thirst Trap Cocoon Mask, $9; a super hydrating, plumping formula! We decided to supercharge it in a serum formula by adding powerful actives like peptides and niacinamide. The final result is an ultra-lightweight formula packed with three types of hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate your skin, peptides to rebuild the skin, and niacinamide to tighten pores. Finally, we added hollyhock rose and soothing aloe vera to nourish your skin, leaving it bouncy and supple. I love to use this immediately after toner, and it also plays well with so many other serums thanks to the lightweight texture that absorbs quickly.

4. For Brighter Skin: The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA, $7
My skin is pretty sensitive so I have to be super careful when experimenting with any type of acid, but I swear this $7 serum transforms my skin whenever I use it. Formulated with lactic acid (an AHA that gently exfoliates and hydrates the skin), it helps to resurface the skin and even out skin tone. It’s also enriched with Tasmanian pepper berry to reduce signs of inflammation and sensitivity that are common with exfoliation. If you’re looking for a transformative brightening serum, this is it!
5. The best drugstore skin solution: Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum, $18
This is another drugstore serum that I’ve been using on and off for years! The lightweight formula is supercharged with a plumping amino-peptide complex that helps firm and strengthen your skin, thereby minimizing the appearance of fine lines. It’s also fast-absorbing and doesn’t feel greasy on your skin, plus it’s designed to be non-comedogenic – I can totally vouch for this as it’s one of the only drugstore serums that never breaks me out.
