Revealed: 5 NEW Gorgeous Shades Of Melted Shadows
I’m so excited to show you guys the new shades in our Huda Beauty Matte & Metal Melted Shadows Collection! These are literally THE easiest way to do eyeshadow and a complete game-changer, whether you’re a makeup pro or a beauty newbie. When we created this product, we really wanted it to be your key tool that would allow you to be more creative and have fun without rules.
These five new shades are so dope and so sexy. They’re basically go-to colors for me – in our first and second drop we created some really bold colors – and these are more muted, essential shades that are perfect for every day. I also love that the shimmer formulas mean you can up the glam by creating a cut crease or dramatic look, literally in seconds – it’s insane how easy these are to use.
Our dual-ended Melted Shadows have a killer, highly pigmented matte shadow at one end, and a stunning metal shimmer at the other. I love that these make makeup on-the-go so quick and easy, so you can create Insta-worthy looks in minutes.
This formula lasts all day (literally), and it’s so simple to use you can apply it wherever you want to; in a penthouse or while you’re at work. Blend it out or build it up to create a look as fierce as you are.
The New Melted Shadows Shades:
When we were creating this collection, I was inspired by the ‘glitterati’ and the decadent lifestyles of It-girls and the Insta-glam squad. So, I wanted the names to be playful and sexy, and represent the exotic scenes, cool beverages, glamorous clothes and extravagance of the glitterati. Our five new shades are absolute staples, and they’re perfect for the cooler months, with warm and spicy copper shades, plum pinks, and icy lilac, and cashmere taupe.
Request Line & Slow Jams – Put on the tunes and have fun with this beautiful cool-toned, mauve pink shade that plays so nicely with this cool, bronzy, rose gold shimmer.
French Lace & Diamond Drip – Perfectly on-trend for 2020, this dusty pastel lavender shade with pink undertones makes the perfect statement. The pretty matte is perfectly balanced with a lilac shimmer that shines with iridescent glitters.
Ca$hmere Robe & Penthouse Suite – Stay in and dial it up with this smoky, olive-taupe shade that’s super sophisticated, and glam it up with this sexy cool-toned antique gold shimmer shade.
Cinnamon Toast & Hella Honey – This warm spicy brown matte is an essential shade and pops like crazy when side by side with this fiery, burnished copper shimmer with warm gold glitters.
V.I.Pink & Million Dollar Deals – This sexy plum pink with warm rosy undertones will make you feel like the ultimate boss. Paired with a warm berry pink shimmer with silver and magenta glitters, this is a fierce combo.
The new shades are available to shop online a ShopHudaBeauty.com on January 17th.
Everything you need to know about the Melted Shadows and how easy to use they are:
The Formulas:
Whether you’re running around making million-dollar deals, partying in French lace or lounging around in your cashmere robe, we wanted these formulas to last through it all!
The Matte Shadow: The matte formula is saturated in pigments, so you can quickly swipe it on for instant drama, or you can easily blend with your finger or your brush. The formula dries to a waterproof, powder-finish, which has oil-absorbing properties so it stays in place without fading or creasing for 12 hours! The doe-foot applicator makes application easy, while it also has a defined edge so you can use it as a liner too.
Tip: You only need to use a tiny bit of product as it’s super pigmented (3 dots on the lid), then blend it out with your finger or brush immediately.
The Metal Shadow: A glittering formula with a quick-dry finish so you can apply and go in seconds. The tiny paintbrush-like applicator makes it super easy to get creative, whether you want to do a quick glitter liner, paint the lid like a pro, create a cut-crease in seconds or get creative with graphic, glitter liner – the options are endless.
Tip: The shine is intense and it dries quickly, so I like to add a small amount to the lid then quickly blend it with a small brush across my lid. For a glitter liner, wipe the excess off the brush and glide it along wherever you want to add drama.
