Supermodel Skincare Rituals To Snatch, Sculpt & GLOW!
Confession time: we spend waaaaay too much time on YouTube. One of the MANY forms of content we binge while sippin’ our morning matcha is what we refer to as the supermodel skincare diaries. Having glowing, healthy skin is kinda like a job requirement for models; however, early call times, heavy-duty makeup, and nonstop travel often works against their glow game. As a result, many of our model icons know how to maintain a solid skincare routine that keeps their skin plump, dark circles on lockdown, and skin snatched. After watching hours of YouTube skincare tutorials, there were some common themes, as well as standout tools that we wanted to shout about. Basically, we’ve watched hours of content and picked out the best bits, so you don’t have to…
1. Chanel Iman’s Fave DIY Mask
DIYs are the skincare bread and butter of the HB blog fam, so when we heard Chanel Iman relied on a DIY skincare mask to amp up her glow, we knew she was one of us. The mask utilizes brightening turmeric, a firm fave at HB, hydrating honey, exfoliating cow’s milk (it contains lactic acid), and flour to thicken. Iman confesses that she’s been using this mask since she was 12, and if you need receipts, just look at her B-E-A-UTIFUL skin!
2. Karlie Kloss’s Go-To Face Tool
After watching numerous (more than we care to admit) videos of supermodel Karlie Kloss running around town during fashion month, one tool kept popping up: Therabody’s TheraFace Pro Facial Device, $399. Karlie admits that she never travels without the sculpting face tool and uses it religiously each morning to wake up her skin. You bet we’ll be shopping this device in the Black Friday sales.
3. Irina Shayk’s Application Technique
It’s not just skincare products models recommend in their tutorials, they also spill the tea on game-changing application techniques. Case in point: Irina Shayk, who shared a tip we’ve been told by derms many times, and that’s to gently pat your formulas, particularly serums, into your skin. By patting your skincare into your skin, it avoids tugging or pulling, which can lead to sagging over time. We mean, just look at her skin!

4. Namoi Campbell’s Glow-Getting Face Tool
We think it’s safe to say we all want to age as gracefully as Naomi, so we take her skincare tips as gospel. She’s also spent decades in the industry working with the best of the best, so her skincare tea is undoubtedly backed by leading dermatologists. Take her fave ritual: microneedling, as a key example. Essentially, it’s a tool that pierces tiny wounds into the skin with the purpose of causing microdamage. This, in turn, encourages collagen and elastin production, creating a more firmed, toned complexion. It also allows for great absorption of ingredients #genius. The process should be done in a controlled way, so be sure to check our derm guide if you want to try this at home.
5. The Supermodel Staple: Eye Masks
Almost all supermodel skincare tutorials feature eye masks – they’re a staple. Not only do they take down morning inflammation, but they brighten, smooth, and hydrate. After some product picks? Well, Hailey Bieber favors the Dieux Skin Forever Eye Mask, $25, which is reusable – in fact, during trials, the eye mask lasted one year before the logo started to fade with daily use. Ashley opts for the 111Skin Black Diamond Eye Masks, $17, which we can confirm are ahhhhmazing. Find more of our fave eye masks here.
6. The OTHER Supermodel Ride Or Die: A Face Roller
Another firm favorite we see in SO many tutorials is the forever faithful: face roller. We love it because a) face rollers are not an expensive tool b) they’re suitable for all skin types, and c) they deliver instant and visible results over time. Basically, add one to your cart STAT. Check out our fave face rollers here.
