This Is My Holy Grail Brow Pencil!
Everyone knows that brows are SO important! From the shade you choose to the shape, a good set of brows can completely transform and alter your face and your look. As much as I love a good brow pomade, there’s nothing like a fine brow pencil to shape and define your brows.
However, my biggest problem with some brow pencils is that the formula is too waxy, and it ends up tugging my brow hairs and making them fall out. Even some amazing formulas just make my brow hairs fall like crazy. The other problem is that some brow pencil formulas are too wet, and then the formula gets oily throughout the day and my brows will just start to disappear as the day goes on.
Fortunately, I’ve found my go-to brow pencil, the Benefit Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil, $24, and it does everything I need it to. Here’s why I’m so obsessed with it:
What it is: A super-fine, waterproof eyebrow pencil that allows you to create hair-like strokes that last for 12-hours. The twist up formula remains sharp and has a built-in spoolie.
What we liked: As well as the bomb formula – it lasts all day and is the perfect mix of being waxy and wet – I’m obsessed with the color spectrum. I’ve always really loved this formula but with the new 12-shade range, it’s really killing the game – there’s literally a perfect shade to match every hair color and skin tone. When I do my brows, I like to use two different shades to add more dimension and make them look more natural: I use 4.5 for most of my brows and then I use 2.75 for the front of my brows as it’s a bit softer.
I love how tiny the pencil stick is, which means you can create really realistic hair-like strokes to create a super natural brow. It also comes with a spoolie on one end, which makes it really quick and easy to use, especially when you’re on-the-go.
Tip: Choose two shades so you can add dimension to your brow. Use the deepest shade for the tale and mid-section of the brow, and a lighter shade for the front.
