How Hindash Created Mona's STUNNING Bridal Glam

This week on the once in a lifetime angel date, 22.2.22, our KAYALI angel and perfume princess, AKA Mona, got married to her wonderful groom, Hassan Elamin, in the most beautiful, intimate ceremony in Dubai. Monie got married at the gorgeous Raffles Hotel on The Palm in a beautiful ceremony literally fit for a princess, followed by a decadent al fresco dinner on a blissful Dubai evening – it literally looked like a dream. We couldn’t be happier for our wonderful Monie – she’s the sweetest, kindest person EVER and deserves every joy life has to offer, so we’re beyond ecstatic for the love she’s found.

As you’d expect from our glamorous KAYALI queen, Monie served not one, but two breathtaking looks for her dream fairytale wedding. To begin the celebrations, Monie looked gorgeous in an off-the-shoulder Vera Wang gown from Esposa Privé, adorned with pearls and a matching glittery tiara – she is the perfume princess after all! Towards the end of the evening, she slipped into another Esposa Privé gown: a figure-hugging dress made entirely of lace. We couldn’t stop refreshing her stories and drooling over her looks.

For her makeup, Monie brought in her long-term friend and one of the region’s leading celeb MUAs, Hindash, who created her breathtaking bridal look. Monie opted for her signature soft glam with a golden smokey eye and pink lip. She glowed all night long – we don’t know if it was the highlighter or just pure happiness.

How To Get The Look

Skincare Prep: First, Hindash prepped Mona’s skin with an under-eye mask, and spritzed the hydrating Tata Harper Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Floral Essence, $72, for a from-within glow. Next, he presses a few drops of the Dr. Barbara Sturm Super Anti-Aging Serum, $350, to plump and hydrate the skin. Finally, he uses the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Base, $56, to brighten and smooth her under-eye.

Step 1: Hindash primes Mona’s lids for eyeshadow application using a combination of the MAKE UP FOR EVER Matte Velvet Skin High Coverage Multi-Use Concealer, $27, and the matte formula from the Huda Beauty Matte & Metal Liquid Eyeshadows, $25, shade Faux Fur and Bamboo Hoops.

Step 2: Using the HINDASH Beautopsy Gradient Palette, $70, he gently sweeps the brown hues from the shade FEEL + REAL across the outer corner of her lids and buffs the pigment into her crease with a fluffy brush.

Step 3: Using the shade INTRA + FATUM (in the same palette) he adds depth to the outer corners of her eye. He then layers the shade HEART + THROB from the new HINDASH Monochromance Gradient Palette, $70, for extra drama.

Step 4: Hindash traces Mona’s upper lash line using the HINDASH Eye Tone – Intra pencil liner , $19.

Step 5: Next, he applies the HINDASH Color Fluid – Boy Tears, $25, to the inner corner of her eyes, before laying the soft pink shimmery pigment in our Huda Beauty Gold Obsessions Palette to the center of her lid. Alternatively, you could also use the Huda Beauty Wild Obsessions Tiger Palette, $29.

Step 6: Hindash then uses the HINDASH Heroline liquid eyeliner, $25, to create a flawless feline wing.

Step 7: Next, he combines the MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Skin Foundation, $43, and the Dior BACKSTAGE Face & Body Glow, $40, to create a stunning complexion base before brightening her undereye with concealer.  

Step 8: Hindash then adds definition by buffing our Huda Beauty Tantour, $30, underneath her cheekbones using a large brush to avoid any harsh lines.  

Step 9: For a rosy glow, he sweeps the GloWish Cheeky Vegan Blush Powder, $21, in shade Caring Coral, on the apples of her cheeks and up her cheekbones. 

Step 10: Then using a soft round brush, he sweeps the MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder, $38, along the bridge of her nose and on her cheekbones. 

Step 12: Using the Huda Beauty #BOMBBROWS Mircroshade Brow Pencil, $17, he creates precise hair-like strokes to accentuate and define her brows.

Step 13: For her lips, Hindash applies our new and improved Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick, $20, in the shade Bombshell, before neatening up any edges with a thin layer of concealer. 

Step 14: To finish, he uses the By Mina Al Sheikhly Curved Mascara, $20, to add volume to her lashes.

Step 15: Finally, he seals the dreamy look in place by lightly dabbing setting powder and dusting off the excess with a large, fluffy brush.

And possibly the most important element of the entire look for a perfume princess has to be her scent.
