Joyjah is constantly serving up the most bomb looks, and this braided bun is no exception. To get the look, simply snatch your hair into a high ponytail, braid your pony, then wrap it into a bun and secure with a hair-tie or pin. Et voila! We also love the perfectly laid baby hairs, but that’s gonna take some extra time!

Is any hairstyle more adorable than space buns? The 90s hair trend has been making a comeback for the past few months and we’re so here for it. From Hailey Bieber to Megan Thee Stallion, tons of celebs have added their own unique twist to the style. Now it’s time you do the same!

4. Braided Tendrils

Just when we thought this trend was fading, Hailey Bieber triggered a major resurgence with this gorgeous snap. Take note from Hailey and pull your hair back into pigtails before braiding for a snatched and polished final look.

5. Braided Pigtails

According to celebrity hairstylist, Jen Atkin, braided pigtails are going to be one of 2021’s biggest hair trends. Need some more inspo? Check out 21 ways to experiment with the hairstyle here.

If you’re trying to keep your protective hairstyle fresh, wash your hair less (ditto), or even hide unwanted roots, a headscarf is always a good idea. Not only is it hella-cute but if you use a silk bandana or silk scarf, it’ll reduce prevent frizz. What’s not to love?

7. Claw Clip

A claw clip is another influencer fave that is also perfect for WFH OOTDs. We’re currently obsessed with the Bunch of Scrunch The OG Claw, $15.

8. Snatched Bun

Running late for a Zoom call? Snatch your hair into a tight bun for a sleek, bold look. Just make sure it’s snatched – you don’t want to look like you just rolled out of bed. Tame flyaways with hairspray or gel, and don’t forget to polish the back of your hair too, otherwise, flyaways are a total giveaway.

9. Headband Wig

According to celebrity hairstylist, Sabrina Porsche, who works with the likes of Beyonce and J.Lo, headband wigs are going to be huge this year. If you haven’t seen this wig style just yet, Sabrina explains, “They’re half wigs that come with headbands attached to them, for those days when you’re between styles and need a quick go-to that’s cute, quick, and easy!”

10. Jumbo Twists

If you’re looking for a new protective style for your curls, jumbo twists are a great and (relatively) easy DIY option. Plus, as jumbo twists are typically knotless, they’ll cause less tension on your scalp. Side note: check out @freshlegnths for some more curly and protective stylin’ inspo.

11. Head Wrap

Who better to take inspiration from than this inspiring woman: Amanda Gorman? We absolutely love this colorful head wrap – it’s chic, bold, and will protect your tresses while simultaneously looking gorgeous.
