I Tried The Top-Selling Facial Mists, And These Are My Our Favs
I know you probably think that a facial mist is a really unnecessary beauty product, but honestly, I swear they’re so good for your skin. Throughout the day, your skin can get dehydrated, oily, or begin to look dull. And facial mists, which are packed with essential oils, vitamins, and hydrating ingredients, can actually help address these concerns! My fav facial sprays contain soothing ingredients and hydrating properties that prevent surface dehydration, which helps balance oil production for glowy skin instead. These are my ultimate facial sprays, and I keep them all over my house and office:
Mario Badescu Facial Sprays, $7
This has been my go-to facial mist for years, and I literally have one of these in every corner of my house. They come in adorable travel-friendly bottles (59ml) that are perfect for keeping on your desk or in your bag. They’re infused with herbal and botanical extracts that refresh and nourish skin, as well as Aloe Vera leaf juice, which is ahhhhmazing for your skin. My fav is the facial spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater, but they also have facial sprays with Cucumber and Green Tea, and Chamomile and Lavender. Be sure to spray this at least 8 inches away from your face if you’re wearing makeup. Shop them here.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir, $18
Caudalie has to be one of my fav skin and body brands, and I love the way this mist tones and tightens pores and even helps with setting and refreshing makeup throughout the day. It’s not my fav fragrance, but I can’t deny that the ingredients like rosemary, mint, rose, and grapefruit extract works wonders for my skin. Again, it’s super tiny and cute (30ml), and you will literally see a difference in how your skin looks when you use it. Shop it here.
Kora Organics Balancing, Calming, and Energizing Mists, $30
These are my latest obsession! Not only am I in love with the packaging – it’s SO pretty – but I love that these are completely organic and natural. Each spray contains Miranda Kerr’s signature nourishing Noni Fruit extract, providing an instantly soothing and refreshing mist. The actual spray applicator is the bomb, and you can tell it’s really good quality because it sprays the perfect mist, so it’s perfect for use during the day, and it won’t make your face feel wet. I love using the calming Lavender mist before I apply my moisturizer at night and the Energizing citrus mist in the morning to tone my skin. Shop them here.
Avene Thermal Spring Water, $9
You can use this before makeup application or during the day to hydrate your skin. This thermal spring water – it’s literally just water – has a neutral pH balance of 7.5, so it’s ideal for sensitive skin. It’s also rich in silicates that soften skin, has the perfect ratio of calcium and magnesium to improve skin texture, and trace elements that even restore the epidermal barrier – it’s pretty supernatural water (50ml). Shop it here.
Alpha-H Moisture Boosting Facial Mist, $21
This is a super hyped facial spray (100ml) that contains some bomb ingredients like witch hazel, aloe vera, chamomile, and orange blossom – its botanical ingredients also contain antibacterial properties. This is super hydrating, and I love to use it when I fly or if I’m at the beach to keep my skin hydrated, and it works perfectly on top of makeup too. Shop it here.
La Mer The Mist, $75
This is super pricey, but it really is amazing, and you do get 100ml. It uses marine botanical extracts, sweet almond oil, and rose water to instantly refresh skin, while a ‘live internal magnet’ helps to continually charge the ingredients for the best results. Honestly, it makes my skin feel so good, it smells really light and fresh, and I love to use this at night before I go to bed to ensure my skin doesn’t get dehydrated while I sleep. Shop it here.
