Introducing The World's Most Intense Bullet: The New Power Bullet Matte Lipstick
I’ve always felt like lipstick is my secret weapon, which is why it was the first makeup product I created six years ago. Finally, after recreating the lipstick in some amazing modern formulas, I knew it was time to revisit the OG of lipsticks, the bullet. I wanted to remake the iconic bullet lipstick, and I wanted it to be the best, most powerful version it could be, because that’s how lipstick makes me feel; powerful!
The Formula
My team and I spent two years crafting the new Matte Power Bullet; a lipstick packed with THE most insane pigmentation – we pushed the limits so much that we nearly broke the machines! Crazy fact: Every single lipstick shade has a different formula to ensure that each one delivers maximum comfort and maximum pigmentation, so each is as comfortable as it is pigmented. With just one swipe, you get intense color that glides on like a balm without skipping or dragging.
The Shades:
Of course, perfecting the formula was one thing, but creating the shades was a whole different story – we literally went through 1000 shades. I always think; men have their ‘power suits’, but nothing gives me greater confidence than finding the right lipstick – for me, the right shade for the right occasion makes me feel so empowered.

I’m SO in love with the shade Board Meeting, which is the perfect 90s shade of brown.

Our first collection is a reflection of the beauty of the rose. The rich red shades are super luxurious and feminine.
Finding Your Perfect Power Bullet Shade:
We created each collection with a combination of cool and warm-toned lipsticks to ensure buying one that looks amazing on you is super easy. I think knowing your undertone is so essential – and not just with complexion products – it can make finding a lipstick shade that illuminates your complexion completely foolproof. So, instead of people having to figure it out, we’ve created cool-toned shades to complement people with cool undertones, and the same for warm tones. It doesn’t mean you couldn’t wear both, but it makes it easier to find your ultimate hue!
The Shape:
Whenever we’re brainstorming new products, I love to draw the designs, and when I was sketching this, creating the shape of the bullet was so important. I ended up creating a diamond-shaped bullet that allows you to get precise application so that you can quickly and easily fill and shape the lips while you’re on the go. It’s literally the most amazing shape for perfecting your Cupid’s bow and getting lip definition.
How to wear the power pout!
- Use the Power Bullet’s pointed tip to contour and line the edges of your lips.
- Fill lips using the bullet’s flat base, beginning in the center and smoothing outwards to the corners of your mouth.
- Build up to your desired level of impact.
Get Extra Long-Wear:
For extended wear and perfect precision, start with a lip liner in a complimentary Lip Contour shade.
Step 1: Define the lips by drawing an X at the Cupid’s bow and then outline the lips. Be careful not to go too far outside your natural lip line and make sure they’re even and symmetrical.
Step 2: Connect your liner at the corners and fill the lips with liner, fading towards the center. Apply your matching Matte Power Bullet all over.
