K-Beauty Skincare That Ticks ALL The Right Boxes – From $5!

product review

Whenever we discover a little slice of skincare heaven, we feel a moral sense of responsibility to share ALL the deets. This is 100% the case with one of our fave affordable skincare brands, Peach Slices. You may be familiar with its older sister, Peach and Lily, which we’ve praised continuously for its glow-giving skincare formulas – we’re talking next-level radiance. Well, their younger, let’s say, Gen Z sister is just as ahhmazing. They utilize effective ingredients that deliver consistent results, and we’ve tried and tested a bunch of them. Here’s everything you need to know about the brand, plus our fave product picks…

Why We LOVE Peach Slices

Any skincare lover knows K-Beauty formulas are on another level. The good news is Peach Slices is an affordable K-Beauty brand that, bonus points, is available on Ulta! They focus on harnessing the magic of clean, powerful ingredients to soothe, hydrate, and clarify the skin. Their skincare line caters specifically to acne-prone skin concerns, such as redness and inflammation. However, that’s not to say they can’t be enjoyed by all skin types as, speaking from experience, they work wonders for your glow. We also have to mention the super cute, playful packaging that brightens our morning as we try to open our eyes! *yaaaawn* Oh, and we can’t forget – they’re all vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, and clean!

The Snail Rescue Collection

We rarely love every single product from a collection, but that’s genuinely the case with Peach Slices’ Snail Rescue collection. Each formula is fueled with the hero ingredient snail mucin, a K-beauty staple containing glycolic and hyaluronic acid properties, meaning it will gently exfoliate congested skin while ensuring it remains plump and hydrated.

If we had to pick our faves, we’d shout out the Snail Rescue Purifying Cleanser, $15, and Snail Rescue Intensive Serum, $18, but that’s not to say we don’t love the Snail Rescue All-In-One Oil Free Moisturizer, $17.

The Pimple-Targetting System

Finding reliable, non-irritating, effective formulas for acne-prone skin can be difficult at times, which is obviously why Peach Slices knew they had to come through… and damn, they came through. Their products cater to acne-prone skin and use powerhouse ingredients like salicylic acid (a powerful BHA) that cleanses deep into your pores to remove excess sebum and impurities. However, they don’t just infuse their formulas with acne-busting actives; they balance these with nourishing ingredients to strengthen your skin barrier, like soothing cica and cucumber to soothe inflammation and hydrate.

We’re obsessed with their Acne Clarifying Cleanser, $11, and we’re not the only ones. In testing, 100% agreed that it effectively removed oil and dirt, leaving their skin feeling clean and refreshed, while 97% saw less painful blemishes, which is major. We love to follow with their Acne Oil-Free Moisturizer, $13. Another yes moment is their Acne Spot Dots, $5, which protect your pimple and accelerate healing so that it’s visibly reduced in size in under 24 hours.

The Glow Getters

If you’re simply looking to amp up your glow game, you’ve got to add the Gold Glow Priming Serum, $10, to your cart. The lightweight serum revives dull, tired skin with 24k gold and a long list of antioxidants, like banana and berry extract, to leave your skin juicy and hella radiant. We’re also in love with the Citrus Honey Aqua Glow, $12, an ultralightweight moisturizer infused with brightening grapefruit, moisturizing honey extract, glycerin, and ceramides to keep your skin barrier healthy and strong.

Redness Relief

Last but not least on today’s agenda is the redness relief range. If you have sensitive or irritated skin, this is your jam. Whether you slather on their Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser, $17, Redness Relief Calming Cream, $20, or the Redness Relief Azelaic Acid Serum, $20, onto your skin, it’ll be treated to calming ingredients like green algae, panthenol, and spinach. Together, they to actively reduce redness (duh) and promote soft, supple skin. Really, it’s a no-brainer.

We realize this sounded like a love letter, but that’s how we really feel. For more skincare reccos, check out the drugstore skincare we constantly restock.
