So is it REALLY 2017 already??? How did this happen so fast?! I’m sure you guys are on the exact same vibe as me. This year just flew by! Like every year, my NYE ritual is sitting in the lounge, lights off, Chris & Nour fast asleep and I take out my diary and literally just pour my heart and soul into it. I write down the good, the bad, what I’m grateful for and what I’ve learnt this year. Never would I have dreamed to have come this far in only a year! Looking back, 2016 has been such a major year for Huda Beauty! We launched our Lip Contours, Liquid Mattes and our Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette – not to mention the Lip Contour sets, the Mini Liquid Mattes (which are the cutest EVERRRR), 3 new lash styles (Noelle is my fav rn!!) and my nail polish collab with Formula X. The ultimate was winning the Digital Innovator of the Year award at the WWD Beauty Awards. Above all, I am beyond humbled by the incredible support you guys have given me and Huda Beauty. Words are not enough to express how grateful I am for all of you. You guys are like my best friends and family. Huda Beauty would never ever have been possible without you! To think that I started the blog almost 7 years ago, filming my first tutorial 27 times (video editing was still unknown territory for me so I had to keep reshooting everything in one go until it was seamless – for real!!), and how much the brand has evolved – all I can do is say THANK YOU, THANK YOU and THANK YOU! I love you guys so much and I wish you guys an amazing 2017. I hope you are as excited as I am for what’s to come. I love you all and please stay safe over the holidays. Xxx
