Revealing the Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter Palette! (I'm SO excited!!!)
Hey My Loves!! So I cannot believe that I finally get to show & tell you guys about our new Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter!
We have been working on this for almost 18 months, and I must admit – I was SUPER anxious to reveal it today on Social Media!! I’ve literally been dying to share this with you all!
Before I jump straight into the palette, I wanted to tell you guys a bit more about the inspiration behind this palette. So we all know that highlighters are super major right now, and I’ve seen loads of stunning ones on the market, which I absolutely love! I really wanted to launch a Highlighter Palette, but I promised myself I wouldn’t launch anything unless it was revolutionary. If we were going to create a highlighter, it had to push boundaries. I wanted to change the highlighter game forever and take things to the next level!
Although I love wearing highlighters, I often notice that it magnifies my already large pores. That’s where the first inspiration came about with the Melted Strobe. It’s a pearlescent, creamy base enriched with shea butter to create a smooth canvas for makeup application. You guys might remember my coconut oil hack where I apply coconut oil before applying my powder highlight – who would’ve known that that hack inspired this formula! I always did this because layering beauty oil with powder highlights made my cheeks pop from miles away. What I love about the Melted Strobe is that it really helps boost the highlight because it amplifies the glow and it’s great to wear layered or on its own.
Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter: Pink Sands Edition
Another goal I had was to make highlighting like a pro within each person’s grasp using our unique formula & technique (which you’ll see instructed on the palette to help guide you!). The technique is super special because that is what creates dimension on your cheeks and blends your highlight perfectly. Every single color in this palette is so important and although our palette may look like a normal highlighter at first glance, it definitely is not.
Incase you didn’t catch the how-to on my Insta-Story or Snap; here’s the 4-step technique to create the ultimate 3D cheek glow:
1. Prep: Apply the Melted Strobe as a base to smooth the skin and amplify the light-reflecting pearls.
2. Set: Dab the lightest highlight from cheek to temple to set and bring out the pop.
3. Sculpt: Apply the darker shade under cheekbones to add dimension and shape.
4. Flush: Sweep the rosy highlight on the apples of your cheeks for a healthy glow.
Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter: Golden Sands Edition
I really wanted to create an all-in-one cheek palette for everyone! The Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter comes in two editions – the Pink Sands Palette is ideal for fair to medium skin tones, and the Golden Sands Palette we developed for medium to dark skin tones. The name inspo for these palettes also has a special story to it…but I’ll tell you guys that another day. 🙂
