Under $25: 9 New Products We’re Obsessed With RN
If you’re struggling to keep up with all the beauty launches happening around you, we can’t really blame you. It can sometimes feel like something shiny and new hits the shelf every five minutes! Here’s the thing: it’s literally part of our job to keep up with new products and shout out the best of the best. That’s exactly what we’ve done today – only we’ve gone one step further to feature our fave new finds that aren’t a penny more than $25.
1. Good (Skin) Days A New Leaf Cream Cleanser, $16
It can be tricky to find a cleanser that adequately sweeps the day away without stripping away the important oils on your skin, but this new cream cleanser does it well. The antioxidant-rich formulation is infused with skin-nourishing greens, including fermented green tea, spinach, celery, and broccoli. It also contains mugwort, which gently exfoliates your skin while you cleanse. Soko Glam launched the Good (Skin) Days brand in 2020, and the line currently holds four affordable products.
2. Colourpop At Forest Sight Shadow Palette, $20
Go ahead and channel your inner forest fairy with this dreamy new eyeshadow palette from Colorpop. It was technically inspired by the Pacific Northwest, but we’re also getting major Alice in Wonderland vibes, aren’t you? The palette features 12 earthy hues, including chanterelle (a golden yellow), Emerald City (a dusty deep green), and Let It Rain (richly pigmented black).
3. Pacifica Clean Shots, $12 each
Pacifica just debuted a seven-piece line of serums, dubbed “clean shots,” and we love both the formula and the price tag. Each boasts its own benefits, and you can mix and match them according to your specific skincare concerns. For example, there’s the mushrooms & caffeine 7% solution, which targets puffiness and irritation; the retinoid + bakuchiol 3% in seawater clean shot, which helps target fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity; and there’s hyaluronic acid & flowers 5% solution, which quenches dry skin and helps visibly repair.
4. Bread Beauty Supply Gentle Milky Hair Cleanser, $20
Why torture your curls into submission when you could give them some TLC and walk away with a glorious crown of hair? That’s what this sulfate-free, co-wash from Bread Beauty Supply will do for you. It’s formulated with argan oil to moisturize and soften, aloe vera juice to balance your scalp and hydrate, and lemon tea tree oil for a soothing sensation. It’s recommended for curl types 3a-4c.
5. Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Brow Harmony Pencil & Gel, $22
Don’t you love it when a beauty product eliminates some hassle for you? That’s why we’re digging Rare Beauty’s Brow Harmony Pencil & Gel. This multi-tasking product features a triangular-shaped brow pencil on one side, and then a spoolie with gel on the other. We also love that it comes in eight, yes eight, different shades (no more pretending that brows come in just a few colors!).
6. Peach Slices Starlit Glow Highlighting Moisturizer, $12
Speaking of multi-tasking products! Peach Slices just debuted a lightweight moisturizer-meets-highlighting product that is legit genius. It’s formulated with hyaluronic acid, bamboo, licorice, and other botanical extracts to hydrate and nourish your skin, but it also leaves behind a sheer and dewy radiant shimmer wherever it’s applied. Try mixing it with your foundation or your fave primer, or simply apply to your skin before your SPF and forget the rest!
7. Happy Dance Head-To-Toe CBD Coconut Melt, $25
Kristin Bell joined up with CBD purveyors, Lord Jones, and launched a gorgeous line of CBD-infused skincare goodies. Our fave just so happens to be the coconut melt, which consists of precisely two ingredients: high-quality CBD oil and ultra-luxe coconut oil. The health benefits of CBD are still being studied (especially when it comes to topical applications), but we do know it’s a highly moisturizing ingredient. Try slathering this melt onto your legs after shaving, or anywhere else you might need serious hydration.
8. ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr GO OFF Makeup Dissolving Mist, $24
We don’t even understand the sorcery of this makeup-melting spray. At the end of the day, simply spray it on your face and watch all your makeup instantly start dissolving. One spritz, massage the mist onto your skin and then rinse it away. Though it’s not necessary, we recommend following up with a gel or foam cleanser for a good double cleanse. Oh, and because the mist is formulated with jojoba oil and rosehip oil, it will moisturize instead of leaving your skin dry, tight, or itchy.
9. Makeup Revolution x Friends Pout Bombs, $8 each
Calling all Friends fans. Makeup Revolution just debuted an entire collection dedicated to this iconic ‘90s / ‘00s TV show and we are here. for. it. We’re especially into the “pout bombs” – aka lip glosses. There are six to choose from, and each is named after a Friend’s character and has a Friends-themed design. The glosses themselves are moisturizing and leave a nice, glossy finish. (BTW, nothing from the Friends collection is over $25, so have at it.)
Which of these goodies are you excited to try?
