#RealSelfieSunday: We're Starting A Self-Love Movement

When we started our skincare brand WISHFUL, we wanted everything about it to be real. We wanted to be authentic and honest with the products we formulated and the content we created, which means WISHFUL is and always will be a no Photoshop, no filter, no Facetuning, and no makeup zone. Our aim is to create simple and effective products that make a genuine difference to your skin and everything you see in our campaigns and on our Instagram page is REAL skin and real results – no retouching, period.

Since we launched, we’ve started a movement of transparency, one which we believe the beauty industry, in particular the skincare category, really needs! And now, we want to encourage the beauty industry to come together and move away from overly retouched skin in favor of real, beautiful skin – shoutout to Glow Recipe who also celebrate real skin.

So we’re starting a self-love, skin-appreciation movement with our #RealSelfieSunday series.

We want to encourage you guys to join us and take a makeup-free, unedited selfie. We know it may sound a little scary but trust us, it’s so empowering. Just post a photo of yourself on Instagram with the hashtag #RealSelfieSunday #WISHFULskin (or don’t, just post!), and we might even share it on our WISHFUL Instagram page. Happy Sunday guys. I still cannot get over this Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub glow😃. I’ve had two mothers at school pickup asking what I use on my face and requesting a link to purchase this product. Yaye!
