We’re proud to say here at HB HQ, we take our skin, health, and wellness routine pretty seriously. We live for skincare and self-care Sundays, we work out regularly, and at lunchtime, we try to eat healthy whenever we can.

Recently, we decided to take our game to the next level and supplement our daily routine with skin and wellness vitamins, and we were seriously impressed with the results. After just six weeks of taking the beauty supplements, we noticed an improvement in our skin and hair, even our eyelashes were longer! Now we have your attention, here’s a list of the best beauty vitamins we’ve tried.

1. For Better Beauty Sleep: HUM Nutrition Mighty Night, $40

Benefits: Improved quality of sleep and revitalized skin
How to take them: Take two soft gels before bedtime, with or without food

These vitamins are like a good night’s sleep in a bottle. They contain a unique blend of skin-loving ingredients and valerian root and passionflower, so they’ll help you stay asleep through the night so that your body and skin can replenish more effectively and efficiently. In fact, you may be able to recognize some of the ingredients from your fave skincare products. They contain ceramides, which help protect the skin, plus ferulic acid and ubiquinol to fight aging free radicals, and CoQ10, all of which work together to improve skin texture and tone overnight. Although these don’t make us fall asleep faster, they do help us sleep more deeply, and we love that they contain skin-enhancing benefits to improve your skin and enhance overnight cell regeneration.

2. For a Healthy Glow: HUM Nutrition Glow Sweet Glow, $25

Benefits: Hydrated, glowing skin
How to take them: Take two gummies every day, with or without food

These glow-giving vitamins contain mega-hydrator hyaluronic acid, which is proven to be effective when ingested. According to Hum Nutrition, “In a randomized double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study it was found that ingested hyaluronic acid increased skin moisture and improved treatment outcomes for patients with dry skin.”

They’re also formulated with vitamin C, which helps reduce oxidative stress and boosts radiance. The addition of Vitamin E helps neutralize harmful free radicals and strengthen the skin’s barrier, increasing its ability to retain moisture. Sidenote: these gummies are super tasty – it actually feels like you’re eating candy!

After taking these vitamins for six weeks and admittedly becoming a little lazy with our skincare routine, multiple people commented on how healthy our skin looked without makeup. And it was true – our skin was noticeably smoother and brighter than before, thanks to the surge of hydration these vitamins provided.

3. For Focus and Concentration: Zhou Nutrition Neuro-Peak, $21

Benefits: Focus, mental accuracy
How to take them: Take one vitamin whenever necessary

If you’re currently learning how to work from home, these vitamins may be the helping hand you need. The supplements are nootropic, which means they’re formulated to help support cognitive function (brainpower) and improve your memory. Each supplement combines the power of bacopa monnieri and rhodiola rosea to help reduce stress and boost your memory, as well as ginkgo biloba, which supports healthy brain function. We found these vitamins definitely helped improve our mental focus, especially during the afternoons, when we naturally experience a dip. However, it’s important to note that while these will enhance your mental capabilities, you shouldn’t rely on them for productivity.
